I am a big fan. However, the wardrobe was a big mistake period. It looked terrible. I truly believe she did permanent damage to her lungs ie. out of breath, gasping at times, etc. She is a shadow of her former self and that's sad. However, I would still see her in concert if she came to my area. Example of the dangers of drugs!!!

Holey cow, she sounds bad. Did you notice how out of breath she was throughout the entire song? She did not seem to recognize the host and wouldn't look straight at him. I hope she hasn't permanently damaged her voice with all the smoking of tobacco and heaven knows what else all these years. I applaud her effort to make a comeback, but it will have to be much better than this to fly...

While it is noticable that Whitneys voice isn`t the same, I think she is great. Years of abuse and drugs use does take a toll on a persons overall health and apperarance. I am just glad to see that she finally had the help and courage to drop Bobby and rebuild her life. So give Whitney a break people, let her get her life together without the verbal abuse that some opininated individuals in these forums think is their right to lash out about. Everyone deserves a break to include you guys. And as for the weight gain, well when you get up in your years you do have a tendency to gain a few pounds and some of us should take a good look in the mirror or take a good look at our mothers as well before passing down the judgements.

One of the most powerful voices ever, and she is now just a memory. This performance wouldn't even pass on American Idle. The Whitney of old is no more.

Unfortunately, she's incredibly out of shape. Her performance on Good Morning America as with this one on X-Factor proves shes is having difficulty with vocals. Her breathing is labored. She relies on the backup singers most of the time. I love a come back but I think she should have spent more time preparing for the tour. Mick Jagger at his ripe old age can sing the pants off of anyone without getting winded. Performing on stage takes endurance and breathing techniques that cannot come without hours of daily workouts. As with her GMA post performance interview she could barely speak for having to catch her breath. Poor Whitney. I hope she puts herself back into training so that her comeback will be something memorable.

I grew up listening to Whitney from the start.When she start having bad times I prayed for her as I do everyone daily.Remember the saying when you try to lift yourself up the devil keep trying to knock you back down?People who judge and talk down is just as guilty as the devil himself.Having fame doesn't mean you cannot fall or hit rock bottom.The main thing is one discover the right path,try,pray & God will do the rest..

Whomever is supposed to be Whitney's wardrobe mistress really failed her this time on several counts: (1) the strap broke during her performance, distracting her from singing; (2) the dress was way too long, which was made worse by the fact that she had to climb down those stairs while singing in stiletto heels and a dragging dress which easily could have caused her to trip and fall flat on her face. Plus, the too long dress made it very awkward for her to walk back and forth on the stage holding up the hem of the dress so she wouldn'd trip on it, further distracting from her singing. I wonder if Whitney had even tried on this dress before her performance -- it appears not. In order for a singer to give her best, she can't really afford to have to be worrying about wardrobe malfunctions which cause such a major distraction and prevent her from doing her best. I think her wardrobe people failed her this time, which is very unfortunate.

I think she's absolutely beautiful....Let's keep in mind she's not in her 20's anymore...As for her figure,I do think she has a great shape for her age and let's fsace it,drugs and a rough lifestyle is BAD on the body..In spite of all that though,She looks darn good...Now I do think she may have Been a "little-Off" while talking to the host...I sure hope she stays off the drugs & keeps trying!!!!!
