Adam Jasinski Used 'Big Brother' Prize to Buy / Sell Pills

Adam Jasinski, the winner of last year's 'Big Brother,' has confessed to authorities of using his $500,000 prize to buy thousands of oxycodone pills and resell them. The Florida native, 31, has been charged with attempting to sell 2,000 pills in Massachusetts to a government witness and faces years of prison time.

Federal prosecutors said Jasinski was arrested Saturday after he flew to Boston and showed the witness a sock containing two plastic bags filled with oxycodone, a powerful painkiller that is a popular street drug because of its euphoric effects. As agents tried to arrest Jasinski at a strip mall in North Reading, he struggled and threw the sock under a car parked nearby, Todd Prough, a special agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration, said in an affidavit filed in court.

Jasinski won $500,000 last year on the CBS reality show in which contestants live under constant surveillance and vote once a week to evict each other in hopes of becoming the last houseguest standing and winning the grand prize.

Prough said in the affidavit that Jasinski told him that he has been using his winnings to buy thousands of oxycodone pills and has been reselling them along the East Coast for the past several months.

Jasinski's lawyer, Valerie Carter, did not immediately return a call Tuesday.

He faces a maximum of 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine on a charge of possession of oxycodone pills with intent to distribute.

Why , seems like a good thing, maybe he can contact Rush Limbaugh and find a good attorney. He escaped with no prison term , just claim he was mistaken.

WTF!? You win $500,000.00 and are on easy street and if you just invest it are set for life (as the stock market has soared this year, but no you decide to blow it on drugs and become a drug dealer? What a disappointment.

Winning $500,000 does not put you on easy street. He won 500K but but til all the taxes were taken out he probably only got 250-300. Hardly enough to live on these days. If you live a simple life that might last 5-6 years. He had 2000 pills. He probably paid $4000 for and can resell on the street for $4000. Double the money in a very short time. If you know of another investment with a return like that let me know I want in. Dont get me wrong I'm not saying what he did was right I'm just saying he was on easy street.

ANY kind of money to live on comfortably for even 2 or 3 years is the absolute definition of EASY STREET ...if he had invested it well he could have gotten another few years out of it ...or more ...but he ROYALLY FKED UP!
