Details on Adam Lambert: He Likes to Play With Bras When He Performs

Adam Lambert is the flamboyant performer who captured the hearts of American women on 'American Idol.' Despite finishing second last season to Kris Allen, the singer is ready to go out on his own.

Lambert talks to Details -- on the magazine's new Web site -- about being a sex symbol for young girls -- even though he's openly gay -- and how he likes to connect to his fans. "A lot of times I'll pick up a bra and play with it during a song. It's a way to connect. It's like, 'I threw my bra up onstage and you're spinning it around. Cool. Yay,'" he says. More Inside

Being a sex symbol for women: "It's all fantasy -- that's what entertainment is. I'm here to entertain you, and if my sexuality is apparent and you respond to it, and you're attracted to it, then great, I'm doing my job. It ain't happening anyway!'"

His 'American Idol' roots: "There's a feeling of entitlement [with the fans] because they voted to get us where we are. But you know what? I am responsible for what I created on the show -- you voted for what I created, and thank you, but I created it, you didn't."

Come on girls, get your heads straight. He likes heads but not yours. Young gay boys probably have his picture in their bedroom. I doubt if he is going to have a lasting effect on the entertainment world, the majority of the American Idol Top 10 picks have not lasted. Some of the best singers and potential entertainers did not even make the top Ten; i.e. - Von Smith. Rumor is that he will be in the upcoming musical Spiderman the Musical. He's does not have the lead, but when it goes on tour, watch, he will have the lead and be more popular than this year's winner and runner up on AI.

Adam's very real talent will carry him a lot further than many of the 'also-rans' on Am Idol. For example, Clay Aiken (also gay, by the way) has done much more for his career than the winner that year, (Rubin... remember?) Adam's career will do the same thing. Three or four years from now, who's name do you think will still be in the entertainment news? Adam's, or Kris's? (I even had to scroll back up just now, to remind me of who won.)

Who thinks this creep is good looking? He's all surface, no real passion in his singing. He's just so full of his wonderful gay self that he's forgotten to be alive. I'm not surprised that he likes to play with a real girl's bra. I am disappointed that these silly children think he cares about them.

I think Adam likes to push buttons whenever he's interviewed. I also saw the photos of him "kissing" and fondling a naked woman. I hope the tweens don't get too caught up in this kind of stupidity. Adam, just sing and never mind all the sexual roll playing.

This guy is weird. I liked him when he was on American Idol. It's not that I have anything against people who are gay but I think he is using it to get attention. I have friends who are gay and they hate him. He is talented I have to give credit where credit is do. Lori you are right pretty much all the cute guys are taken or gay.

Adam is a Chamelion of looks. And what ever the looks are I like them, even his blue feathered hair on his CD Cover, although one wonders why they added the feathers. As far as I'm concerned that idea is for the birds. I am watching his video several times a day. Never get tired of it.

Yes, Adam is a STRANGE BIRD - that's why the feathers - blue, no less! I've never had an album that looked like that in my house, and never will! It's DISGUSTING! His music is disgusting too! And yes, like Clay Aiken, he'll end up on Broadway, where he belongs!
