Falcon Heene Balloon Boy Story Has Legs

'Balloon Boy' Falcon Heene is just about the most searched thing on the net right now (other than 'NFL,' 'Halloween,' and 'Twitter'). But that phrase, in itself, isn't a Google hot trend today. Make it 'Balloon Boy Story' (which, we assume, is a more memorable synonym for 'hoax') and you've got one of the hottest trending topics of the day. The story has taken on a whole new form now that we know the whole thing was a publicity stunt.

The Heene family falsely told authorities that their 6-year-old son Falcon was trapped in a mylar balloon, flying high above Colorado. Now, the parents of three are in custody for the hoax.

Doesn't mean it's not a good story, and clearly you agree. Keep an eye out for 'Bubble Boy' + 'who knows what' to appear at the top of Google Trends for a long while to come. With all this popularity, their story is ripe for a made-for-TV movie in the future. We decided to cast the family -- and other important characters -- for the yet-to-be announced film. ENOUGH................You are giving this family exactly what they wanted and took and took from the public. This is so wrong! They should have to pay for taking away all the people who helped them from helping with real true and honest stories. WE MUST NOT PLAY INTO THIS FAMILY. JOKE, we were all worried about the boy and the laugh was on us, when we stopped what we were doing to pray for a boy in the attic. SICK.

Does Art imitate life or life imitate art? I listened to a radio announcer commenting on this whole fiasco and he was crying about how justice needs to be done and what a rotten thing this was, and how people SHOULD NOT WATCH these types of "reality" shows. But here he was, the hypocrite making money from the debacle by giving it airtime. The truth is people like that kind of crap, lying is ok, and yelling fire in a crowded movie theatre is just another cheap thrill.

It's hard to believe that the news media is making stars out of this family of jerks. Why, after all, should they cover such mundane stuff as political corruption at local, state and national levels when they can focus all of their attention on the Jerk Father of the Year and his little troop of future Adult Jerks. These people are criminals! Please stop writing about them and those poor kids. This is exactly what they want! Nobody with any sense gives a rat's rump anymore, the story is over. The only thing left to do is to put these freaks in jail or a lock-down psych ward. They should also pay all expenses incurred while trying to rescue the boy.

I THINK THAT THIS MAN AND HIS WIFE NEED TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING FOR ALL THE EXPENSES THAT WERE INCURRED TRYING TO GET THIS BALLOON DOWN. AFTER ALL, WHEN PEOPLE ARE RESCUED, THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING FOR THE RESCUERS.

This is entertainment at its most despicable level. The parents should be punished and the children protected. As for us, the people following the story, we should turn our backs and read a good book instead...like SILLY LITTLE RICH GIRL, now that's entertainment.

Sensationalize this family's actions and reward them with the notariety and attention that led them to this criminal event. How nice, they're rewarded for using the tax payers dollars, for abusing the systems; FAA, FCC, 911, National Guard, Law Enforcement, Emergency Management, Federal, State, Local and County government.

They have already hurt the children, why do you think the kid was puking all over the TV sets? That was no stunt cue, he is sick to his stomach over the lies his father has forced him to perpetrate to the world. He's a damn liar because of his own father, how do you like that? And what if one of the rescuers had died trying to save the boy alleged in trouble? Those parents would never ever see the light of day as free persons. How ignorant.
