Falcon Heene Balloon Boy Story Has Legs

'Balloon Boy' Falcon Heene is just about the most searched thing on the net right now (other than 'NFL,' 'Halloween,' and 'Twitter'). But that phrase, in itself, isn't a Google hot trend today. Make it 'Balloon Boy Story' (which, we assume, is a more memorable synonym for 'hoax') and you've got one of the hottest trending topics of the day. The story has taken on a whole new form now that we know the whole thing was a publicity stunt.

The Heene family falsely told authorities that their 6-year-old son Falcon was trapped in a mylar balloon, flying high above Colorado. Now, the parents of three are in custody for the hoax.

Doesn't mean it's not a good story, and clearly you agree. Keep an eye out for 'Bubble Boy' + 'who knows what' to appear at the top of Google Trends for a long while to come. With all this popularity, their story is ripe for a made-for-TV movie in the future. We decided to cast the family -- and other important characters -- for the yet-to-be announced film. See who we want to star in the drama.

Balloon Boy...the most googled person...yep the plan worked beautiful...the jokes on us...we all worried and were all pissed off when we found out it was all a hoax...and yet now we all continue to read stuff and comment on this freak show...we all should just reach in to our pockets and just hand this fool ten bucks...by next week...the cover of PEOPLE,US,OK,NATIONAL ENQUIRER,THE DAILY NEWS,on and on...every talk show from OPRAH to LETERMAN...and of coarse a reality show,maybe a movie...yeah this is a strange strange world we live in...what happened?We used to praise and admire and reward hero's and good deeds...now,only weird,odd and dysfunctional people get the glory and make the big money for the sick things they do...when did we become so backwards...*Sighs*

The media has been increasingly dangling carrots in front of viewers---to get addicted to those crazy reality shows---to entice them to become a "reality" star themselves!
These people figure the carrots will turn into $$.
And the people fall for it because this kind of thinking along with pushing the greed issue (not to mention the vanity issue) almost always brings such "American dreams" to fruition, if but for a moment; and then there goes Jon & Kate getting divorced, there goes Kendra leaving Hef, etc etc etc and now we see an eccentric, intelligent sci-fi nerd guy passionate for storms getting looped into wanting the carrot dangling before him.
Perhaps, in these times of crisis; he's looking for $$ to put the food on the table.....

I say the family should go through some intensive therapy and work from there.

And, once they're back on track; they should pay the restitution by going ahead and making their reality show and giving proceeds to the sherriff's dept and the rescuer,etc.

As I heard on TV yesterday; they won't be doing the jail time.

Prayers for them and their boys for positive steps forward!

parenting classes and monitoring the children yes .....you dont seperate the children & the parents ....nobody wins nor does anyone get help ....you have obviously never lost a child in a divorce or custody battle or to the all too powerful state services ....alot of times children act out ..withdraw or even abused sexually-physically-mentally ....besides there is no book on parenting what works for some is a total disaster for others ! lighten up people ! we all make mistakes and yes sometimes children do not understand and take things literally or the wrong way !

payback what.....they tested the services ....this was a valuable learning experience for those involved consider it a live training mission ....a fine and some community service and be done with it .
