After a life of high-profile relationships with famous Hollywood men -- from Woody Allen to Warren Beatty -- Diane Keaton is enjoying the independence that comes with being single. In the November issue of More Magazine, Keaton, 63, opened up about men and her current lack of a love life.
"It's a huge part of life that's missing, yeah, but I don't miss it," she said. "I'm free to do what I want to try to do. I don't have to worry that I'm not living up to some responsibility as a partner to somebody else."
Joking about her sex appeal: "I don't think men even look at me anymore. If anything could work in that area, it would probably be if I paid him. Then I think we could work out an affable relationship. 'Remember, at eight we're going to dinner. Until then, you're free, take care of yourself.' I'm totally for it! I pay for everything else. I bet I'll have a lot of suitors now, right?"
The idea of couples falling in love later in life: "Do you think they kiss? They have sex? That's something I can't imagine at all. For me it was always, 'Oh, no!' And then I couldn't help myself, because, just biologically, you can't help but go toward it. It's too exciting. Ugh! I don't want that excitement. Too scary. I see it as a danger zone. Who would we become together?"
Being on the run: "I don't really relax much. Like, I can't go and nap, ever. I'm not interested in relaxing until I hit the sack, and then it's like [crash noise]. I wouldn't know what to do with a week off. Except for one little area, m-e-n, I'm excited, I'm ready to go, sign me up."
For the first time ever, Diane Keaton, 63, has allowed photographs of her two children – daughter Dexter, 13, and son Duke, 8 – to be published, in the November issue of More, on stands Oct. 27. Get More at More >>

Diane... baby... have you read this article from a man's perspective? You've got some really mixed messages in there, but only after you say, "Sign me up."
One of the classiest dames (I know, it's a sexist word ... so shoot me) on the planet. And still plenty sexy at 63 ... I agree with the guy below, by the way ... don't stress over ANYTHING, Diane ... just lay back and enjoy!
Right on, Diane. Given time, men are always more trouble than they're worth. And, without fail, they're always looking for that ego boost which usually starts at about 15 years younger than they are themselves.
Her children are adopted. I believe there is something to be said for any age adopting. These WERE unwanted children. And, they do appear to be very happy.
Kerry, if you do the math, Diane would have had her daughter at 50 (Diane is 63, her daughter is 13), not in her 40's. As for women not having enough energy in their 40's to deal with children, I would say that depends on the mother. There are plenty of women in their 20's, in what is considered prime childbearing age, who seem to be lacking the energy and patience to deal with their children. Then there are women who started having children later than that, who handle the physical and emotional demands without issue, and may even be wonderful moms. If you're saying that your mom is not in that category, I would not be so quick to attribute this to her age. I have no idea of your situation, but it sounds like you've got some work to do between you and your mom, and I do wish you all the best, you will not be sorry if you take that road!
My mother was 42 when I was born and I was 48 when I adopted my daughter. I am sorry about your mother but my mother had lots of energy to keep up with (and at times out do me) and I have kept up with my daughter just fine. Even when she is at college I keep up and her roommates think I am a keeper.
A woman can be a Mom at any age. I had my last child at 42 and my first at 22. I feel I'm a better Mom this time around. My husband and I are spending a lot more time with our daughter that we didn't have when the others were her age. My daughter is 9 now. Yes, she was a big surprise try being menopausal and postpartum at the same time LOL.
Kerry how sad you are so narrow and closed minded to lump us all together. Maybe your Mom didn't have much going on and would have been a lousy Mom at any age.
Kerry, you are an idiot, just because your mom didn't have the energy doesn't mean all women don't...don't put all of us over 40's with love and energy to burn in the same category as a woman who obviously didn't give you what you needed....I'm 42, spend all day running after and playing with a 20 month old, go to the gym for 2 hours 3 days a week, take night classes and still have plenty of energy to do charity work, spend time with my husband, facebook, friends and lots more....so knock it off.
Kerry, that is a very skewed way of thinking. If you have a mother in her 20's that is overweight and lazy, then she will have little or no energy to spend time playing with her kids. And, women in their 40's now are much more aware of how to be healthy and keep yourself healthy, eat well, exercise and live healthy lives so that they have a ton of energy. I've seen women in their 20's chomping down on Big Macs and Coke who are tired from blinking thier eyes, and I've seen women in their 40's, 50's and 60's running marathons, triathlons and working full-time jobs with a family at home. Don't generalize every woman beause your mother had no energy. Maybe there was a medical reason for her lack of energy as well, that you aren't aware of.
What a silly mommy! Katie Holmes takes Suri into the water in her clothes as the two spend the afternoon at the beach in Miami. More of Today's Hottest Photos

You have to advertise Diane. People don't know you are or are not available. Go on Oprah, mention you would like a partner, let them come to you.

Your kidding right Diane,
Your still a sexy, hot , classy lady.

Now can she talk about her complete lack of talent and why she is the same person in every movie she does. And why does she dress like a man?

you have said it all :)
Are we really to believe that a woman of her age had those children herself - are they adopted? That would seem more likely.
