After a life of high-profile relationships with famous Hollywood men -- from Woody Allen to Warren Beatty -- Diane Keaton is enjoying the independence that comes with being single. In the November issue of More Magazine, Keaton, 63, opened up about men and her current lack of a love life.
"It's a huge part of life that's missing, yeah, but I don't miss it," she said. "I'm free to do what I want to try to do. I don't have to worry that I'm not living up to some responsibility as a partner to somebody else."
Joking about her sex appeal: "I don't think men even look at me anymore. If anything could work in that area, it would probably be if I paid him. Then I think we could work out an affable relationship. 'Remember, at eight we're going to dinner. Until then, you're free, take care of yourself.' I'm totally for it! I pay for everything else. I bet I'll have a lot of suitors now, right?"
The idea of couples falling in love later in life: "Do you think they kiss? They have sex? That's something I can't imagine at all. For me it was always, 'Oh, no!' And then I couldn't help myself, because, just biologically, you can't help but go toward it. It's too exciting. Ugh! I don't want that excitement. Too scary. I see it as a danger zone. Who would we become together?"
Being on the run: "I don't really relax much. Like, I can't go and nap, ever. I'm not interested in relaxing until I hit the sack, and then it's like [crash noise]. I wouldn't know what to do with a week off. Except for one little area, m-e-n, I'm excited, I'm ready to go, sign me up."
For the first time ever, Diane Keaton, 63, has allowed photographs of her two children – daughter Dexter, 13, and son Duke, 8 – to be published, in the November issue of More, on stands Oct. 27. Get More at More >>

Diane is not only attractive, she is talented. As far as energy, that depends entirely on the person. ENTIRELY. I am bothered by all these petty remarks, if one didnt know better, it would seem that they are jealous!
I can relate to DK and thought I was odd since now 50, don't care about a relationship with anyone. Enjoying children and g'kids are enough drama for me. Thank you Diane, I guess feel more...normal...
I love Diana Keaton...she is a classy and vibrant woman..and a 5 star actress! It is only too bad she never married in her life or had the partner she deserves. But like men..woman also have their own kind of lifestyle that for some reason cannot be shared with the opposite sex. It is hard to find some one to fit your needs and vise-versa! That is why divorce seems to be on the rise these days!I am happy she is able to share her life with kids and give them a good life. And it looks that she adopted from the USA..not abroad like most actors! But naming your daughter Dexter..hmmm..BUT..Michael Keaton whose real name is Michael Douglass...took the last name Keaton from Diane..because he liked it, and there were already 2 other actors with his real name..Keaton is Diane's mother's maiden name!
I too, am a little curious about her kids, just because I am a big fan and this is the first time I heard she had any. I am also wondering if they are adopted, why? Strictly selfish, I always explained to myself that the reason she still looks great, without any crazy, obvious knife-work, is that she hadn't had kids.
I'll weigh in on the older parent energy debate, my mom was 34, but my dad was 57 when I was born. He may not have run around as much as other dads, but he shared a level a wisdom that I wouldn't have gotten if he had had me as his younger self. The only sad part is that he died when I was 21, much too soon. Parenting can not be generalized by age. If you want to do it, and do it really well, you serve your children (and the rest of the world) by raising great people.
I agree. Diane's acting is the same in every movie. And why photoshop? It takes away from her. I would think a woman her age would have come to terms with herself and life and would have learned SOMETHING by now. Her comments on men show an immaturity, insecurity and shallowness that is unbecoming in someone her age. Get a life!
Diane always acted like she would be the perfect wife. She seems like she would be emotionally supportive of those around her. SHE is DEFINITELY a WOMAN
Keaton is my film sheroe!! In the movie Something's Gotta Give...she was a "boomer" whose male counterpart went for "chicks" her daughters age..she was accomplished, interesting, genuine and victorious. Caught the attention and heart of a "hunky" doc (Keanu Reeves) but was madly in love with Nicholson's character...he was captivated and transformed by her! Fellow Baby Boomers, we've been redeemed!
