Meryl Streep's Daughter Engaged!

Meryl Streep's daughter, actress Mamie Gummer is getting married! Gummer confirmed to Usmagazine.com that actor boyfriend Ben Walker "proposed two days ago." He "surprised" her with a custom-made ring and "did it on one knee!" she said.

The two have been dating for about a year and a half and met while working on a short film, and later performed together in a spring 2008 Broadway production of 'Les Liasions Dangereuses.'

"My mom loves him!" she gushed. Gummer is the second eldest child to Oscar-winner Streep, 60, and sculptor husband Don Gummer, who have four children.

"We are very happy!" Gummer added.
