Kate Gosselin Gets One-Hour TV Special

The last episode of 'Kate Plus 8' on TLC will air Oct. 26 and will feature the embattled reality TV mother of eight Kate Gosselin answering "your questions about life, the show and moving on," the network has announced. It remains unclear whether she will talk about a breach-of-contract lawsuit between her estranged husband Jon Gosselin and the network.

The TL C special will air the same day the Gosselins are due in court to try reach a financial settlement.

If he does not return the cash by Oct. 26, he could face potential contempt charges. Kate also must detail what expenses she's been spending money on.

wow vickie, you seem bitter. this woman is a money hungry snob. jon cancelled the show nd that makes hima quitter?

i have never saw so many bitter biased male bashing females on one site in my life.

why cant people take an honest look at this situation? the broke up, why is he the bad guy?

if he is as bad as you say he is, shouldnt they be divorced? i suggest kate get a real job. she is the worse parent i ever saw in my life. who puts their kids in the public eye like this during a divorce?

jon put a halt to the show because it became clear kate and tlc was seriously taking advantage of the situation. it wasnt about the kids anymore. he didnt want the kids to be in the middle of this public war. and its a fact that tlc is exploiting their marital problems because they wouldnt be having this show. when it was a stable environment, having the kids on tv was acceptable. but when tlc promotes their marital problems, it isnt good for the children. if you cant understand that i question your parenting skills. who would want to expose their kids to a messy divorce on tv?

and im not a hater , because both of these people are crazy. but you gotta admit, kate is the attention whore who runs in front of the cameras. she feels her meal ticket slipping away and she is panicking! she has $400 haircuts and $7oo shoes, yet she worries aboutproviding for the kids?

wait until her book comes and her next tv show and then see if you still support this attention whore.

Im sorry but I would rather watch "Octo Mom" and her nonsence than watch the bickering and plain nonsence of the Gosselins. The only thing that should be made into a special is measuring the colleratal damage that has been caused on the viewing public and these poor children.

Having 6 kids at one time is a miracle.....she could of dropped her kids off at daycare and went to work as a nurse....but why would anyone do that when they could become millionaires?the kids all have accounts for their education....why not?I would do it for my kids in a mega-second....they have it made.....who in the hell wants to be a nurse when they could have millions..dah?

The kids all got scholarships when they were born. If Jon and Kate had both worked like other families that have 8 kids, they could of made it work. Why are you posting so many comments Vickie? You are taking this waaaay too personally. Turn off your computer, go outside and get some fresh air. It will help you. I have a feeling that you are seriously lusting over Kate.

Jon put a halt to the show because his bread and butter was gone.....period....If he cared about his kids being abused he shouldn't of screwed around in front of the whole world...........

Kate is NOT a star and she does not deserve to be treated like one. As others have said she pimps her kids out for the money and I wonder just how much has been put away for the kids. From the rate the parents are spending it I doubt that the kids will have any when they reach 18.

Just cancel the show and let them get a real job like the rest of us have to do. They are nothing special and Kate is a brood hog just like the Octamom

Mr.rick ...I am not the one bashing kate....I watch the show ...she is a good mother....They did not just break up....he embarrassed his whole family publically....He should of had the balls to get divorced first .....then screw around.....that is what a "MAN"does...by the way ...I have been married probably longer than your age..

Where are her children during all these interviews and her errand running? An everyday mom has to take her kids with her most of the time.

also...mr.rick ....she didn't put her kids in the public eye while going through a divorce.The contracts with TLC were already signed....BY BOTH JON AND KATE....they had to continue......thats why he is a liar...he signed the contract himself.When he found out they were letting him go for the next season ...he put a halt to it....why?.....because....he is a cry baby......

The lawyers for TLC said he had done things outside their contract like make appearances and such. Didn't Kate do the same thing? She made appearances on all of the major TV stations. What's the difference?

GO AWAY ALREADY you CHILD PIMPING WITCH! She knew how much money Jon made before she plotted to breed this litter. She looks CRAZY is every one of those pictures with her UGLY haircut and clunky shoes. Jon left because she treated him so badly. Those early shows were shocking to watch as she berated him and put him down every chance she had. Mady is already nuts, and the rest of those kids are going to be screwed up just like Mamma Wacko. Get a real job you greedy pig and give us all a break from you fugly face and your dysfunctional brats.

Kate has been paid to have someone else do extravagant things with her kids. So the children have come to expect that royal treatment, of vacations, spas, etc. It will be an adjustment, for certain. There is NOTHING special about these parents. Evidently, they don't even have good character! Kate is playing every card she can against Jon, via her PR people, but I remember how shabbily she treated him all the years on the show. He is acting like a kid in a candy store and that is wrong -- but Kate was never a good wife either.

Kate & Jon are individuals who have no idea what it is like to really raise children on their own. They have full time babysitters to take care of the children. The TV show shows Kate as being frazzled at handling her own children at home because she is too busy handling her book deal and doesn't take the time to be a "real" stay at home mom. Watching kids play outside and taking them to the beach is great but you never see them being tucked in by either parent or baths or anything of that sort because it is all being handled by babysitters. Raising eight children has to be expensive but try being a real parent for a change.

What, is Jon a woman? Talk about the "effeminization of America". He's upset with his wife for being critical? Poor baby. Maybe he should've thought of that before he had 8 kids with the woman. Bailing on the mother of your 8 children, and then publicly humiliating her in front of the entire world is completely indefensible. I don't care if he despises the woman... show the mother of your children some respect. He should take the kids off TV, get a real job, and start acting like a man by supporting his family. It's a very sad statement on society that there is anyone out there who could possibly feel sorry for this douche-bag. "He's so sensitive, he couldn't stand being bossed around anymore". Maybe he should've asserted himself then, instead of acting like such a spineless coward?
