Tom and Katie Celebrate With Travoltas at Secret Scientology Event

Over the weekend, Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and daughter Suri reunited with John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston -- plus over 6,500 Scientologists and their guests celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the International Association of Scientologists in England on Oct. 16, Usmagazine has confirmed. They were surprise guests at the 25th anniversary of the International Association of Scientologists. During nearly two hours of speeches, Church leader David Miscavige briefly addressed the crowd: "Because we never took our eyes off the ultimate prize, we stand where we are today... We are in this together!"

The massive event was held at Saint Hill Manor in East Grinsted, West Sussex. Witnesses said, "Tom was swaying and looked like he was in heaven... He was really, really into it. Katie was next to him doing her best to look as enthusiastic. She was clapping along with the song, but was totally out of sync. Suri was standing by, looking a little bemused in a cute little party dress."

Seated nearby were Travolta and Preston. "John and Kelly were holding hands throughout the performance," an onlooker says. "They look like a very united couple." Their appearance puts all rumors to rest that Travolta left the church. There had been speculation after Travolta took the witness stand and testified that his late son Jett was autistic. Until then, Travolta and his wife said their son had Kawasaki disease, a rare condition that causes arterial inflammation, because autism is not recognized in the church.

Define "cult". Moses claimed he spoke to God. Krishna sat under a tree and became a God. Mohammed said God spoke to him. A farmer's kid found a new "bible" written on gold tablets no one else ever saw just his handwritten "translation".) A few clerics at Nicene decided and what not to put in the Christian bible. One guy thought God wanted him to kill his son. Who is to say who is crazy and who is not? Or what religion is a cult and what is not?

Is this really news. Two celebrity couples go to a church event. One couple holds hands during the ceremony and one of the other couples seems to like the music, the other not so much. From this, posters Michael and Rose are able to ooze out a couple of bigotted comments. Get a life people. Dictionary defines cult as "a system of religious worship." So everybody who practices a religion is a member of a cult. Big deal.

(Good points) Is not a Bigot a person who person obstinately or intolerantly is devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices. I believe most of the points I've read and attended on scientology show deep down in your inner circles an unwillingness or refusal to tolerate or respect contrary opinions or beliefs of other religions.

as much as i think scientology is a joke, a person has a right to their beleifs, america was founded on that principle. if someon wants to believ what a sci fi author claims is a religion, so be it. but when they cause a unwilling individual to not receive the proper medical care, that is a criminal offense and both the paren and the judicial system has an obligation to prosecute them under the law.

What are travoltas celebrating? The fact that they are responsible for their son's death by turning over the care (body flushings) of his son's severe seizure disorder to the cult.
