T.R. Knight Splits From Mark Cornelsen

Former 'Grey's Anatomy' star T.R. Knight is single again.

The actor recently broke up with his much-younger boyfriend Mark Cornelsen, In Touch reports.

"It just came to a natural end, no hard feelings," a friend said.

"They still care about each other very much," the friend added.

Knight, who is 36, asked the 20-year-old Cornelsen to move out of their apartment they shared.

And Straight people aren't Troy? Having baby after baby after baby the parents broke up and who is paying for it, THE KIDS. You need to catch up on your reading Troy and look at the amtount of straight people who broking up and put ther kids thought hell. Sounds like old Troy is a "BIGGOT"Pick up a newpaper TROY and read it sometime.

That's really prejudiced. I know gays who are in long term relationships. Their relationships suffer the same pitfalls as straight ones. I see no reason to allow them the same rights as straights.

Who cares. He's another actor who thinks he's better than he is. He left a number one rated show because he thinks he'll do better somewhere else. Kinda reminds you of Gary Burgdoff from Mash or Mclean Stevenson or any other actor who left a prime show thinking they were better than they are. 2 years from now he'll be working in used car lot totally forgotten.

You're right about that. Happened to David Caruso on NYPD Blue, Shelley on Cheers, even Farrah Fawcett on Charlie's Angels. Just because the show is hot, doesn't mean it's actors are the ones who made it that way - most times it's the writers...

Gary Burgoff stayed with M*A*S*H through 7 seasons and returned for 2 episodes in season 8. He appeared in 159 of the 251 episodes of the show. And if you look at his bio his departure from M*A*S*H coincides with his divorce from his first wife. Maybe he had personal reasons for leaving and not ego issues. SHEESH! He is also the only actor from the movie who was cast in the TV series. The guy wanted to spend time with his kids

That is ridiculous stereotyping if I have ever seen it. Gay or straight, relationships don't always last. Look at Elton John. He has been with his partner for over twenty years. And if I'm correct, T.R. and his partner were together atleast a year. That HARDLY qualifies as a "fling". Love is love. You can't judge someone based on their race, their sex or their sexual preference. And no I'm not gay either. I'm a married mother of three.

Married men and women separate everyday. It is NOT a gay thing. They are just as committed as heterosexuals. How is it ok, to discrimate against gay's but NOT ok to do so with races? Grow up people. They are human beings! They deserve to marry, have kids, homes and families just like anyone else. I'm straight. But I'de rather live in a neighborhood with every home being occupied by homosexuals, than the neighbors who are straight who live around me now. They deserve ALL of the same rights as heterosexuals. We will NEVER be able to claim to be a country who is strong, with morals and values until we learn to accept homosexuals as equals.

Gay relationships are just harder than others because of the discrimination they face. So many people hate them and judge them and self-righteously thump their Bibles while doing so, never realizing they are going against the teachings of that same book with their judgement and hatred. Mark Cornelson is from my neck of the woods, Bellingham, WA, where his dad is a prominent dentist and Mark was disowned by his family for being gay... just one of many societal challenges gays have to face in order to simply live life with someone they love. Try not to be so judgemental.

No, my dear Troy. It's not just a gay thing at all. Happens in both worlds, gay or straight. In fact straight men/women engage in flings and mulitiple partners more often then not. Even my exhusband, who just so happened to be a chaplin proved that to me. So son, look in your own backyard to make sure it is clean.
