It's 'Time For Miracles' For Adam Lambert

It's seemed like a long wait for Adam Lambert enthusiasts, but the popular 'American Idol' runner-up returns with a powerhouse new single and video, 'Time For Miracles.' The video, from Columbia Pictures' end-of-days action film '2012,' is a treat two times over - fans can catch a glimpse of the glam rocker singing his heart out, and check out images from the upcoming movie (in theaters Nov. 13). Lia Vollack, president of worldwide music for Sony Pictures Entertainment, said in a statement, "Adam's video is remarkable. It's a great companion to Roland Emmerich's film – we're thrilled that Adam is a part of this motion picture."

Lambert's debut album, which isn't released until Nov. 24, has performed well in Amazon.com sales, with orders bigger than the Beatles and Madonna, the New York Post reports.

Lambert, 27, joins other successful runner-ups like Jennifer Hudson, Clay Aiken and Chris Daughtry, who have gone on to overshadow the winners of their respective seasons.

Adam has such fierce charisma in that video and just adds a really soulful, artistic power to that song that it is remarkable. Not sure I would love the song by any other artist. Can't wait for Adam's CD to drop Nov 23rd!!

Lia is sooooooo right. Adam is perfect for "Time for Miracles" and sings with such passion that you feel his energy. I would not know of anyone that could do it better.

I heard the song earlier this week, and it has been stuck in my head since then. It really is a beautiful song, and add the fabulous voice of Adam Lambert, and that equals a HIT. Congratulations Adam, you are well on your way!

I think that adam was better off not winning. he's not bound to american idol. but there's a mistake up there. "Fan Favorite" it says. if he was the fan favorite he would have won. but like i said, he has alot of fans and he's better off not bound to american idol.

Adam's song was great, but that's what we were expecting anyway. As for Jennifer Hudson being named an Idol runner-up, uh, I don't think so. Not even close. They booted that wailing 'songbird' off long before the finale. She's still wailing and screeching out a few notes now and then and fooling everyone all the way to the bank. Whatever it takes Jen...but you'll never come close to the artistry of Adam Lambert.

I am a HUGE fan of Adam's, but I am also just as HUGE a fan of Jennifer's. Just because they sing in two different styles doesn't mean they have to be compared so negatively. When Adam was on the show, he's the reason I was tuning in. I wasn't yet watching AI when Jennfer was on, but I did go see "Dream Girls". That's when I became a fan of hers for life. When she sang "I am Telling You...", by the time she got to that last note, everyone in the theatre stood up and gave her a long and loud standing ovation, including me, and I am disabled...I threw down my cane and stood there clapping with emotion before I even realized everyone else was doing it too. I went home and was telling everyone how I'd never seen that kind of spontaneous reaction in a movie theatre before; not realizing that when I read the reviews later on, I'd find that this was happening all over the country in theatres after that award winning scene. Both Adam and J-Hud are phenomenal artists. I'm just glad that I have ecclectic enough taste to be able to enjoy both of them unequivocally.

Why doesn't AOL figure out a way to cut out or minimize the ads that people put on her for weight control and sex tapes?? Some of the websites make those ads very light in color so you can barely read them so you can pass right over them. Why do we have to muddle through all the crap to read opinions instead of ads?

I KNEW IT! This kid is a superstar and his first effort is a great song. Most of the country still can't figure out how the voting went on AI but no one will take money bets now on which of the two top finalists will be a superstar.
Way to go ADAM...great song, great video.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it, love it, LOVE IT!!!! Adam's killer vocals and interpretation of the music is, as always, stellar! Watching him perform and hearing his vocals are out of this world! I am so proud of Adam for setting and going after his dream! Thanks to whomever is responsible for choosing Adam to sing this song! I have watched it about 10 times already this morning; I love the video and his voice gives me chills each and every time! As Brian May said, this is going to be #1! Adam is so talented and, more importantly, is a great example to all in the world that you can remain a nice, polite, considerate person and still achieve fame. Adam, we love you at my house! Soooo can't wait to get a copy of this and your album! Thanks for sharing your talent with the world! Also, thanks to whomever wrote this song; I love the lyrics!
