Kate Gosselin's Lawyer Says Jon Hasn't Paid Up Yet

A judge ordered Jon Gosselin to return $180,000 from the joint bank account he shares with his estranged wife Kate Gosselin, but according to her lawyer, the father of eight has only paid by $28,500.

"The only proof of money we received is $28,500 that was sent over a week ago," Mark Momjian tells Usmagazine.com.

"The only thing we're looking for is the difference, which is about $151,500. We have not yet received confirmation of that," Momjian adds.

However, Jon's lawyer claimed his client is has followed judge's orders.

"Jon has completely complied with all of the directives of the court. He complied. He met all the mandates.," Mark Heller said.

"That's factually incorrect," Momjian says of Heller's statement.

And if Jon doesn't pay the money back by Monday? "We'll be in court. We'll be in court," Momjian claims.

Why should Jon pay her? I think they need to split the child support right down the middle and I'm sure they both are going to get monies from the show and even reruns of the show. She shouldn't even ask for money. They both worked on the show together, and I'm sure he will take care of his children. As a woman I'm tired of women who work, especially the ones who make a lot of money ask for child support and alimony. If they make a lot and work, they should help with the child support and also give the man alimony. They need to split both down the middle. It is always the man who gets arrested, child support and alimony thrown on them, and the woman doesn't have to do a thing. Something isn't right there. You guys need to wake up and stand up for your rights. What kills me is that some of the women sleeping around on their husbands and they think they deserve everything when they get a divorce. I think the judge needs to send them walking without the children, money, house etc. They made their beds let them sleep in it.

I worked with a man that drew child support from his wife. He ended up getting the children and his wife had to pay child support just like a man has to pay. I'm with you, the woman should only get half of what they own and she should pay child support, same as the man. I am a woman but what is right is right. It takes two to end a marriage not just one.

Ok so they are both at fault for one reason or another in this whole mess.. however one of them is actually holding somewhat of a job and that would be Kate. She does all of the book signings and appearances to make money for her and her kids. We all know that the money is not just for the kids. Then there is Jon ,, does he have a job ?? No.. does he spend the majority of the time jet setting and partying ? yes. who has been spending money on whos Bf/GF well that would be Jon. Although kate does have all that help with the kids, that help does cost money and she has to earn it somehow especially since TLC is not going to be paying for it anymore. Kate may not be there as much as she should be for the kids, but she is there more than their father is. Jon has made it very clear that the only young person he is interested in spending an excess of time with is his GF. I dont have a side to choose,, I am just saying that they both have their faults.. one is just more obvious than the other. She needs to be a real mom to the kids and he needs to man up and act like the dad that he should be instead of going out and chasing tail all over the country.

Salena i agree with you 100%... kate does cook for her kids, kate does spend money on her kids, and kate does spend time with her kids! I am also on team kates side .... she may have her faults but damn it she doesnt fluant them and she is the one who is financially stable to do it ! and she brings home the bacon and by gosh she cooks it right up !

I love how everyone is feeling sorry for the kids. Parents screw up their kids everyday....this is no exception. They will grow up and they will be fine or they won't. Big deal!

OMG, these 2 are just sickening!! I saw the episode of "Say Yes to the Dress" when she bought her "Vow renewal Ceremony" dress. She must have spent at least 2-3,000. These 2 know no boundaries and are spreading their "entitlement" attitudes to their children. It is disgusting!!!

It does not matter what Kate makes. The court required that the bank account be maintained intact for paying regular bills. Jon violated that.
End of story. Maybe his current lovey will get her rich daddy to loan him the money LOL. NOT!

Thsi whole thing is a JOKE ! Oh, poor ole me..says Kate, and all those tears. I DO NOT feel sorry for her. She had a plan in motion, she got pregnant with infertility drugs, and wanted ALOT of kids. So, she could have a career on TV. She had ALOT of plastic surgery after having the kids so SHE could be famous. What a way to get a JOB. She turned her marriage into a circus, and exploited those kids. That's the only way she could get into Television, because she is NO ACTOR. Oh she loves the limelight. I would not pay anything back to Kate as she has stole LOTS of money from the accounts, for her trists >> like her plastic surgery and her constant travel, for herself, and paying nannies, housekeepers, and drivers, and bodyguard. Kate is NOT a ideal mother, she is constantly on the road with interviews, and she acts like she is a great parent, HAHA, what a joke,Jon is a puppet ona string, who has parental custody of the kids when it is convient with Kate's schedule, where she oges off ofr these interviews. What a joke, she only needs Jon there when she can get away. He has no say in when he can spend time with his kids, it's all up to Kate's schedule. I for one am glad, grew somw nuts and brains, and smelled the coffee. I don't know any man (but maybe a scarecrow) that would put up with all the crap he has, being told what to do(like he is a child), bossing him around like a 2 year old, and her doing all the talking, and constantly belittling him around. Good for you JON stand on your own two feet. If I was Jon I would take all the money I could from Kate, as she is nothing but a WITCH, and NO ONE could pay me to ever live with her. I think he should take what is due to him for all those years living in her bubbly dream world. She is a nightmare from H3LL. I personally would love to not turn on TLC and see anything more about the show, make her get a REAL job. And don't let her fool all the viewers she is NOT broke, and she is NOT a good mother. She is NEVER with her kids, but only for the taping of the show. I personally think she has been unfaithful to Jon with the bodyguard, and several others. Did you viewers ever notice that they always show Jon out and about, but Kate keeps a LOW profile? Yep she does live, and it is NOT inside a bubble. Do they ever show her out to dinner, or what SHE does in her personal time without the kids? (and NO I am not talking about seeing her in court, and trying to pump her gas in her auto?). Jon has got the short end of the stick in this whole circus, and I for one feel sorry for him. Poor ole Kate, and Poor ole me crap does not cut it with me. She thinks she is prime and proper,and a saint, but believe me she is NOT. She is a nightmare that is real....about time Jon finally woke up and seen it. She spends so much money on things, and NOT the kids. I wuld love to see the money in a trust fund for the kids, for all the pain and suffering they have to put up with..as far a Kate's mood swings, and witchness, and for all the TV shows that they don't want to be on. Come on Kate, go get a real job (not on TV) and let your kids live a normal child life. But of coarse she owuld be broke, and broken hearted not being on TV. She wants to be rich and famous for having these kids, nothing like a moocher. I hope that the child protective investigates all of this as she is using the kids for her own benefit. But, I will admit that Jon needs to go on, but why do they keep showing him out and about with his girlfriend, but Kate is a Nun..or NONE? She is seeing others to but TLC and the Media (and she has pull somewhere in the media line)is not going to show us that part, because Kate wants to be the "good" parent...what a JOKE. If you only REALLY knew her you would CRINGE. She is NOT friendly to anyone, and definitely NOT to her kids, or herself...or ever has been to JON. I think that Kate really needs to get some SERIOUS help as she has OCD,and ADHD, and no amount of money can cure that. Run, JON and NEVER look back at Kate again, but do keep your heart close to those kids, as Kate will never be a good mother and they will eventually come running back to dad within time. Jon is the only person who is really looking out for the kids. I think the court is only looking out for POOR OLE Kate, and forgetting about the kids, and Jon. What the kids and Jon has been through with Kate, is nothing but a nighmare, and I hope she will eventually realize it, but then again why would she ? The kids and Jon and this whole mess is what keeps Kate going...raking in the doe $$$. Get a real life Kate, and grow up the whole wourld is not about ME ME ME. I am SO GLAD that TLC dropped the whole SHOW. I am looking forward to seeing something else besides the Kate & Jon plue 8, or the Kate and 8 show. Move on TLC and find something better than this crap.

This show was a FANTASTIC show in its onset. I watched it over and over because it really let us see at least a portion of what is involved in dealing with sixtuplets plus twins. Those kids were soooo cute and open and honest. I think there is still an interest in what happens now that Kate is a single Mom. Yes there are single Moms out there with lots of kids - perhaps they too wish they could find a way to support them and not have them live in poverty. Bravo to Kate for finding a way to support them. And Bravo to Kate for knowing that to raise 8 children the parent HAS to be organized and a disciplinarian as well as loving them BEFORE anyone else (unlike Jon). If you look back, he was self centered from the start. He was like a 9th kid that Kate had to BEG for help. He always took the easy way out and just let Kate do everything. Those who are just jumping on the J and K plus 8 wagon now to give their two cents should go back to the beginning and watch every episode. Why are people knocking this reality show? How about all the lame "reality" dating shows that show women prostituting themselves out so one stupid guy can then "pick" his lifemate. Now those are the shows that should be taken off! Kate - you are to be respected and cheered!
