Chris Brown doesn't seem to want to let go of Rihanna -- if what he says on his Twitter account is true.
The singer -- who attacked his ex the night before the Grammys -- posted a link to a fan made YouTube montage of the couple's relationship set to R. Kelly's 'The Way We Used to Be' with the message, "IM SORRY YALL. JUST HAD TO POST IT." Watch the Video
He followed up with these words: "FOR THE FELLAS: showing emotion doesn't make u weak... BEING HONEST MAKES U STRONG."
Brown pleaded guilty to assault after beating Rihanna up and was sentenced to probation and community service. There is also a restraining order against him.
Chris Brown has been sentenced to five years of probation and six months of community labor for his felony assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna in February.

I also once thought i had found my one true love. and for over 2 years he made my life hell. everytime he beat me like that, i ran away. everytime i ran away, he kept reaching out to me and saying he was sorry. everytime i came back to him, and it would all start again. and i would also take his sight when friends and family expressed their concern. i'd say "well he apologised, im sure it never happens again, he loves me". he never changed and i am glad that after 2 years of hell on every single day i was strong enough to walk away and never look back nor speak to him ever again. and now i am with the love of my life, who would never in a million years hurt me.
i am sick and tired of hearing people making excuses for beating other people and those that take their side. whether you are male or female, if you beat another person, you are the lowest of the low and i can only repeat again and again, nobody who truly loves someone would ever hurt them.
Rihanna stay away from him. He has problems he has to fix himself and this does not happen overnight. Yeah he's sorry, abusive people usually are but so what. STAY AWAY!!!!

I don't approve of men beating on woman, but with that said, I do not think it is the courts place to put a protective order in place for so long if the parties don't want it. I think Chris brown is being sincere & I don't think he'll do it again. He waited before coming out publicly so he didn't look like he was apologizing just b/c of PR. I think it is up to Rhianna, not us to decide if he can be forgiven. It may be true that a man that hits a woman will most likely do it again, but he didn't have a history & he has proved thus far that he is truly sorry & doesn't want to strick a woman again. I am a woman & I think he deserves a second chance, Rhianna should have the right to give him another chance if she wants. The courts should assess if he is "safe" & if so then drop the protective order if she requests it. Good luck to the both of them, they look like they really do love each other & just have made some terrible & public decisions, but let them work it out in private if they so choose.

After about two weeks of him trying to get me back, I finally went back to him and he hasn't put his hands on me since. I do believe people can change and Chris is young enough to learn from this.
