Former Smiths frontman Morrissey was hospitalized overnight after he collapsed onstage during a performance, the Associated Press reports. The British singer was released Sunday from the Great Western Hospital in Swindon. A spokesperson said the singer was "much improved," but offered no specific information on the reason for the collapse. "Morrissey became unwell, and he was admitted overnight as a precautionary measure," she said. Two band members rushed to his side and dragged him offstage after his collapse.
A fan told the BBC, "I didn't think he looked particularly well but then again, he's well known as a reclusive character so I sort of thought that was just the way he was when he was on stage. He kept putting his hand up to his mouth as if he felt sick or perhaps he was trying to hide something, but he didn't look particularly comfortable. He got through the whole song though ... to rapturous applause at the end."

Maybe he will die! Morrissey sux, always has su*ked always will su*k. Pompous, pretentious crap is all he has ever played. He is a no talent hack who won't go away.He once said he won't play in Canada because of the baby seal hunt, so I held a baby seal hunt here in Fl. but the sc*mbag still showed up!!DIE DIE DIE!!!!!!!

I bet Morrisey just fell asleep onstage singing his own song -someone said he was snoring into his head piece while he was lying there. If they could put the book "Dianetics" to music, it would be the Smiths musical catalog. Listening to what these guys do on youtube is like lying in bed staring at a beige wall in a hot room after taking a shot of Nyquil.
