True Blood Turns to True Love as Moyer Proposes to Paquin

Life imitated art when actor Stephen Moyerproposed to his 'True Blood' co-star Anna Paquin.

"There's a song Bill listens to in the car about a white sandy beach," Moyer told British Glamour magazine, referring to Bill Compton, his vampire character on the HBO show. "So we decided to go away for a break – to a white sandy beach – and that's where it happened."

Their courtship was discrete until a love scene forced Moyer to reveal his feelings.

"One of the cast had to do an intimate scene with Anna," said Moyer. "I felt it would be so wrong for him to do it, then find out down the line that we were together."

"So after 10 months, we had to tell him," revealed Moyer. "He couldn't believe it!" The shocked reaction was shared by others working on the show.

Paquin, 27, won an Academy Award at the age of 11 for her work in 'The Piano' making her the second youngest winner in history. She also starred as Rogue in the 'X-Men' franchise.

Moyer, 39, was born in England and worked as a theater actor for 5 years before transitioning to television and film.

As far as the series goes, I'm all for Sookie ending up with Eric. But I'm so happy that these two are together in real life! I wish them all the best.

What is it with these vampire shows? Oh yeah, it's all the sex or unrequited sex. Twilight stars living together, and now these guys. Wasn't Moyer married when these guys started up?

He has never been married...he had ended a relationship about a year before they met....he has 2 children by 2 different mothers...they all seem to get along...Congrats...Anna and Stephen have been together 2 years...
