Love his music I still have all of the American Idol shows with him on my dvr haven't erased them cause I love his singing and his eyes omg I love his eyes I just look into his eyes while he's singing and I am in another world. I don't like his album cover it makes him look like to much of a woman!!! I want the Adam that I seen on American Idol on his album cover's then probably the people who voted against him would think twice and buy his album!!!

Reminds me of Boy George!

I don't know who he is but its not terrible. Its obvious that the photographer was doing a throw back to the 80's and so with that in mind its okay.

LMAO Hilarious! I don't care if he's gay, straight, man, woman, or whatnot! He must be an alien, traveling back to the 80's glam-metal days that are now pretty much styles that are avoided.
It looks cheap, tacky, and... oh-so-bad. Totally off the mark. Never judge a book by its cover, sure. But one can't help but think of all sorts of bad 80's music associated to this poo-poo picture.

Love his voice and musical ability, hate the cover. It is creepy.

He looks like JoAnn Worley from Laugh-In.

**sighs** He is the "New" Boy George

Ok, here goes. Can he POSSIBLY be any more girly? Adam, stay on with your hormones and get the snip already. Over the top just for shock sake. Eat it up because you are done.

I could care less about a guy's "glam" so I don't get why he has to wear his gay-ness on his sleeve. He is obviously very proud of being gay but, he needs to grow up and realize if he wants people to take him seriously, quit acting out like Boy George and try to act somewhere in the middle. I could care less if he is gay or not but this is over the top and he needs to accept we now all know he is gay and quit shoving it at people.

bgs, I could not agree with you more. I think what turns a lot of people including myself against all this "gay" stuff is when they try to force thier preference on you whether you like it or not.
He is a very good singer, but as you stated, WE KNOW HE IS GAY! So enough of acting trying to look like a freak.
Adam Can sing, The Album cover blows but I bet its worth listening too.

Adam has an amazing voice. His take on Mad World is the best I've ever heard. However, I don't plan to buy this album unless one of the songs gets tremendous airplay and really draws me in. At first glance, this cover screams gay disco to me, and that's definitely not my favorite type of music. But that's just one opinion. I think the guy will grow a large cult following just because he isn't afraid to do his own thing. Best of luck to him!

Who is this guy? Some American Idol contestant? No one will remember who he is outside of 3 years anyway. The cover looks like something from the 80s.

As an American -- Adam has the right to utilize fashion, hair and accessories in any way he wishes, right? Conversely -- the American public has the right to have mixed responses if Adam rocks the blue Clairol and the guyliner. No surprises, right? Adam is a great talent and I can't wait to get his album and play it at volume eleven. My problem is with the art direction and design. The type, the glamshot, the off-the-chain photoshop on everything is cheez-viz. The look is overproduced and under thought out. I'll bet if Adam had a national contest for concept art on his debut he would have had a better cover and maintained an even closer connection to his already loyal fanbase.

From a market stand point why would you go so extreme with your first cover.Keep a milder profile so people will hear your music.I don"t care what his sexuality is. But I am sure this cover has turned alot of people off.Let people hear you!!!!!

I am willing to bet that he garners a huge following, the likes of which have not been seen since Boy George, Donna Summer, Liberace, Patti LaBelle, etc. He is new, but don't be surprised when becomes absolutely iconic. He had to "hold back" a little on AI because he probably didn't want or need to appear as overly confident in his performances. This kid's going places. I like him because he KNOWS he's putting on HIS show for us. He is giving us him, unlike so many other performers today who are selling booty, butt, cleavage and pole dancing. I am not just talking about the female stars either...the male stars today use dancing women as a prop too. Sometimes those "props" overpower the perfomer, but they don't care cuz their getting what amounts to is a lap-dance or stripper routine while they perform.
Anyone who watched Idol knows poor Adam suffered from deeply pockmarked cheeks and the amount of airbrushing to achieve that image could fill a hot air balloon ! lol

SHES cute but i would never buy one of its records..

I love Adam but the album cover has to go. We know he is gay, he has the right to be proud of being gay but the cover makes it look like he's trying to make the point. I'll buy it anyway.

More than 60% of AOL readers polled hated the album jacket, not because it's bad artistically, but because they're rednecks and would've hated it anyway. It's the same 60+% who rag on President Obama all the time. Go wash your pick up trucks and watch NASCAR on your big screen TVs that you can't afford and keep those idle hands busy, will ya.
