Scarlett Johansson Bound for Broadway

Scarlett Johansson is adding another venture to her resume -- movie star, singer, and now, Broadway actress.

Johansson, 24, will make her Broadway debut in the revival of Arthur Miller's play 'A View From the Bridge,' along with fellow film star and Tony award winner Liev Schreiber, Reuters reports.

Set in 1950's Brooklyn, 'A View From the Bridge' follows a a dockyard worker obsessed with his 17-year-old niece, who will be played by Johansson.

The 'Lost in Translation' star is one of many Hollywood actors to try their hand at Broadway this year, including Jude Law in 'Hamlet' and both Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman in 'A Steady Rain.' Despite the gloomy economy, ticket sales have been strong with the addition of these big name stars to the playbills.

Previews of 'A View From the Bridge' will begin on December 28, and the show will run for 14 weeks.
