Michael Jackson Autopsy Photo to Be Leaked Soon?

The news isn't all good when it comes to
Michael Jackson this week, as an autopsy photo of the late King of Pop is said to possibly leak soon.
Gerald Posner writes in
The Daily Beast that he recently received a phone call from someone who allegedly has a photograph of Jackson on the autopsy table. Posner's source reports that the image is "not a cellphone picture," explaining that the "quality was far too good."
Two independent viewers described the photo as "shocking." It features only Jackson's head and shows his shaved skull and wide open eyes. His eyebrows are tattooed and skin is ashen in color. His lips are flat, wide and without lipstick. A scar on his left cheek is visible because concealing makeup had been cleaned from his face. Jackson is lying on his back on a metal autopsy table. The picture was taken at a 30-degree angle toward the left side of the corpse.
The Daily Beast tracked a high-resolution copy of the photo to a prominent Los Angeles restaurant owner who stored it on his BlackBerry. The restaurateur revealed the photo was given to him by a "high-ranking police friend." The man has displayed it to several television executives based in California. He refused to acknowledge whether he was trying to sell as well as a visit to confirm ownership of the image.

A British tabloid editor told Posner off-the-record that worldwide rights to the photo could easily surpass $1 million. However, an investigation of security breaches at the autopsy could make a sale difficult.
Michael Jackson's unexpected death in June at the age of 50 caused grief among fans and a flurry of speculation concerning its cause. Jackson's '
This Is It,' a concert film documenting his rehearsals for a concert series of the same name, is currently in theaters.

Just when you think they media (or whoever) couldn't get any worse, they pull this. There is no way this photo should ever be seen by anyone. Do you not think Michael's family has feelings? This is just too much. It's a total disrespect to Michael, to his family and especially his children. Would you want an autopsy photo of your father made public for the world to see? I can't believe that it's even being considered.

I believe MJ's children have feelings. It wouldn't surprise me if his family (Joe) was behind selling those photos. He is still feeding off the corpse and will until the day he dies. What is truly said is that no one in that family doesn't stand up to Joe and say no more!
People are morbid, they love the macarb. They are also very selfish and want what they want. That said, I think that most people would be willing to sacrifice the feelings of the Jackson family and want to see the photo. It's sad what this world is coming to...I have no respect for the restaurant owner or the policeman for even thinking about making money on this deal. Michael will haunt them both I hope.
Just because someone is an entertainer, does not give anyone with a camera the right to constantly hound them and report every single move they make. Even if the celebrity is a bit on the odd side. However, we are not talking about a living person now. He has left behind 3 innocent children, who should not have endure having a picture of their father's autopsy published for the world to see. No matter how you felt about Michael while he was alive, have some respect for those kids.
Yes i agree. My mom got murdered wen i was 8 and i know that i would not want them to make an autopsy pic of my mom public for everyone to see
It just goes to show you that everyone is out to make money and they really don't care how they do it. The ONLY thing the person that took that picture was thinking was how much money could be made off the photo and I am sure that they took not even a second thought as to who or what might be affected by the distribution of that photo. Selfish people have no thoughts for anyone but themselves.
its a free society nobody has to look at the photo but I want to
I hope they won't do that how could people be so horrible.I hope that they just leave Michael alone how do you think his children feel.I feel sick to my stomach reading that who ever sent that out you are a sicko.r.i.p michael jackson
I agree....how disrespectful. It does not matter if you liked Michael Jackson are not this should be a criminal offense and if they can find the officer who took the picture he should be fired immediately. This man has children and a family and no one should have to see their loved one like that. We have no right to this info and it serves absolutely no purpose but to be cruel and obviously an attention and money seeking venture for this person.
ditto on that one RDM this is a sick world and nobody cares anymore about nobody , these people must not have any family or kid's ,they probably wouldn't understand being hurt ,like I said in my comment would they want pic's of they're family or loved ones all over the internet. well anyway's well said.
Absolutely. Leave the man alone. He was bugged pretty much everyday of his life and now he is gone you want to keep up this disrespectful bs. Knock it off and let him be.
I think you're absolutely correct..NOBODY should even buy a magazine or anything that would benefit the person who (for money only) took this picture without permission...Only the children will suffer and his family...I wouldn't be surprized if it was taken by Joe (his father) however, it's mentioned that an officer took the picture..WHO KNOWS??? I am terribly upset to think that someone could make 1 million dollars for doing something so pre-posterous as this...JUST FOR A BUCK...I hope they get sued by the family..
I can't believe this!!!! Someone needs to stand up for Michael and SUE the bastard who smuggled this photo and also the restaurant owner for showing it. The family should sue sue sue. MJ fans and any self respecting person for that matter should boycott youtube or any other medium that shows such a photo. They would not treat the worst criminal this way but Michael Jackson WHO NEVER HURT ANYONE - yes that's right - HE WAS INNOCENT. LEAVE HIM ALONE! Think of his children. The world should close their eyes if that day ever arrives.
Yes, I too agree that it would not surprise me at all that Joe Jackson would sell something like this. But as far as autopsy photos goes, there have been autopsy photos released of John F. Kennedy, Tupac and many others.
The Media will always disrespect Michael Jackson because Mr. Jackson never defended himself when he was alive from Tabloid bs....In death the lousey money hungering Jackson Family has demonstrated that they do not give a damn about Michael, except for trying to exploit him in Death....I completely disaprove of the Jacksons having custody of Michaels Children.....If Ms. Jackson should pass away, those kids are in realllllllllly big trouble....STAY AWAY FROM GRANDPA???????????

The release of the photo is totally disrespectful. He has made so much wonderful music. People should just stop and listen to the lyrics. He cared so much about the world, and the trouble this planet is in. We should all just let the MAN rest in peace. Whatever people think he did wrong, it's over now, and his Judge is in Heaven. Leave the judging to the Almighty.

You are so right. The music business will end up being very bitter behind the money they'll lose due to this man's death.
It amazes me that this week we have had all this appalling news. First the comedian urinating on the picture of Christ and now they're stooping to an all time low with wanting to show pictures of a cadaver? It's a wonder this generation is growing up twisted. All of this nonsense in the news is coming from grown adults. Grown adults. Then you wonder why the world is in the state it is in. They always mock people that are exceptional-and try to do good for the world. Didn't they crucify Christ? They've been doing it since the beginning of time. I agree with you. Let the man rest in peace. No matter how glamourous he appeared in the Hollywood Hills, we will never know the anguish he lived through with people like this who he trusted.
will the kids he touched ever have peace?
This is uncool. Let him rest and find some dignity in death. I think very few of us would want photos of our autopsies disseminated
