Michael Jackson Autopsy Photo to Be Leaked Soon?

The news isn't all good when it comes to Michael Jackson this week, as an autopsy photo of the late King of Pop is said to possibly leak soon.

Gerald Posner writes in The Daily Beast that he recently received a phone call from someone who allegedly has a photograph of Jackson on the autopsy table. Posner's source reports that the image is "not a cellphone picture," explaining that the "quality was far too good."

Two independent viewers described the photo as "shocking." It features only Jackson's head and shows his shaved skull and wide open eyes. His eyebrows are tattooed and skin is ashen in color. His lips are flat, wide and without lipstick. A scar on his left cheek is visible because concealing makeup had been cleaned from his face. Jackson is lying on his back on a metal autopsy table. The picture was taken at a 30-degree angle toward the left side of the corpse.

The Daily Beast tracked a high-resolution copy of the photo to a prominent Los Angeles restaurant owner who stored it on his BlackBerry. The restaurateur revealed the photo was given to him by a "high-ranking police friend." The man has displayed it to several television executives based in California. He refused to acknowledge whether he was trying to sell as well as a visit to confirm ownership of the image.

A British tabloid editor told Posner off-the-record that worldwide rights to the photo could easily surpass $1 million. However, an investigation of security breaches at the autopsy could make a sale difficult.

Michael Jackson's unexpected death in June at the age of 50 caused grief among fans and a flurry of speculation concerning its cause. Jackson's 'This Is It,' a concert film documenting his rehearsals for a concert series of the same name, is currently in theaters.

Funny you should say that, Michelle, because I have had the same sneaky suspicion ever since his "death" became news. Think about it: He's a freakshow with a bad reputation in the minds of anyone over SEVEN who knows what a mentally disturbed pedophile he was. He paid off everyone to make it go away, and ever since then, his "popularity" has been tarnished. So now what does he do to try to regain some of his former glory? HE FAKES HIS OWN DEATH! It's not as far-fetched as it night seem at first! Think about it: what better way to reaffirm his Peter Pan complex (perhaps Jesus complex as well?) than to come back from "the dead"? wouldn't surprise me one bit if he resurfaces around Christmas time...we'll see!

I am not a fan of MJ, but as a human, I would not want my autopsy photo shown.. it really is sick. I don't approve of how he lived, but I am not his judge. I have no respect for the man, but I do respect him as a human. There is not reason to see those photos, it's disgusting.

I think this is totally disrespectful - to fans, and especially to MJs family. Why would anyone take such a picture and WHY in the world would anyone want to see a pic that would destroy the memory of how he looked the last time we saw him? This world is CRAZY! AND, what in the world is wrong with the HIGH RANKING police officer that he would take such a picture and then share it later. JEEZ!

To whom it may concern, If you did show a real live picture of Michael Jackson dead, then the karma you will reap will be concise and exact to each that played a part in trying to gain money for this unholy act. You have all made enough from this sweet man to whom it would seem has came to the time to reach a higher realm. I'm almost 66 and am so sad to have to say goodbye to him. What will happen to you when it's time for you to say goodbye?

if you didn't know, he was proven not guilty to all charges.
if this was true, he would have obviously done something to his children.
Once he offered money, so they could finally leave him alone, these people accepted it, and leaft MJ alone.
i don't know abou you, but if your child was molested, and the person who molested your child offered money, i wouldnt accept it. but these people did. so it obviously means they were in it for money.
don't judge someone you don't know, without knowing the facts.

First of all, those of you who are calling MJ a child molester, give me a break. The man was not convicted of being a child molester or anything else for that matter. Believe me, if you people were ever arrested and you were branded before you even had a trial, you would be the first to say "it isn't fair". Don't do that, it makes you all look like idiots.

I've never been a fan, but I think it would be very disrespectful, and downright cruel to his children to release the autopsy photo.

As for the rest of his family, I think they would put it on display and charge admission. Ever since he died, I haven't seen one picture of them where they AREN'T smiling (and his father giving a "thumbs up") Disgusting!

Its amazing to me that people who dont like MJ are still coming in to read articles about him. Get a life. RIP MJ

No one, no matter who they are should have their Autopsy photos publisised, respect for the dead over rules popularity, sadly the majority of people will want to see them, it's sad though. I wasen't a fan of Jacksons but he's dead and should be given the same respect as anyone.
