Corey Feldman Committed to Welfare of His Son During Divorce

Corey Feldman is having a rough time in the wake of bad news - his wife of seven years has filed for divorce and the actor is "deeply hurt and saddened by this unexpected change in their relationship," according to this rep. The statement on PEOPLE continues, "[He] has done nothing to contribute to the demise of the marriage."

Susie Sprague cited irreconcilable differences in court papers filed on Oct. 22. She is seeking spousal support and sole custody of the couple's son, Zen, 5, with visitation rights for Feldman.

Feldman is "hopeful that he and Susie can work to resolve this quickly and amicably, and he is fully committed to doing what is best for the welfare of their son," the statement adds.

Feldman gained widespread popularity starring in 1980s films such 'The Goonies' and 'The Lost Boys.' In 2007, Feldman appeared with his frequent co-star Corey Haim in an A&E reality show, 'The Two Coreys.' Feldman married Sprague, 38, on the set of VH1's 'The Surreal Life' in a ceremony officiated by MC Hammer and a rabbi.

I don't think this guy ever grew up and is stuck in the past.The way he acted after Jacko died shows he has no shame and is still a little boy.Shame is he will marry again and be right back to divorce court before you know it.....

From what was shown on his TV show, he seems to be a good person. She always came off as a self-important wannabe hanging on to his coat tails.

It takes two to make a marriage and two to break it. It says she is filing for sole custody of their son, hopefully it's for the sake of their son and not just her being evil and trying to take him away from his dad. Any loving parent wouold only file for sole custody if there was a good reason for it. A child needs a mom and a dad.
