Hailey Glassman: Jon Gosselin Is Emotionally Abusive, Throws 'Mantrums'

Jon minus Kate, plus... mantrums? According to new girlfriend Hailey Glassman, reality TV dad Jon Gosselin has a seriously nasty temper. In a two-part interview scheduled to air Thursday on 'The Insider' (via PEOPLE), Glassman reveals, "He'll call me and take his anger out on me. He has 'mantrums.' I shouldn't have to put up with being emotionally abused."

She adds, "I cry and say, 'Why are you so mean to me?' "

"Sometimes he has trouble with the truth," she says, "and he will dance and dance around his lies. He's like Jekyll and Hyde. But I still love him."

As if the 22-year-old hadn't already raised enough red flags with those statements, she adds that she met Gosselin without having a clear picture of the circumstances of his public life. "I met Jon in a bubble," she explains. "I'd never seen the show. I had no idea."

Gosselin's fame became clear to Glassman soon enough - she claims that the public scrutiny of her relationship is another obstacle. "People judge me before they meet me. I get threats everyday," she says. "I get called a home wrecker and a fat whore. People will stare or point. It gets worse everyday."

Glassman claims her relationship with Gosselin is "not normal," but says,"I don't want to leave him all alone. At the end of the day, I love him but I dislike him at times. When I love someone I would never hurt them."

A source close to Jon tells PEOPLE, "He was very supportive of her doing the interview. He wants her to clear her name... He has a lot of on his plate and he gets frustrated but he's supportive of her."

Boo, Hoo!! Oh woe is me!!! Get out, for heaven's sake. Hide in a cave for a year. The answers are right in front of you. Believe me, once you get away and learn to lead your own life, you will be so glad you left Jon. (She never saw the show? She never saw the tabloids? Give me a break.)

I am so sick of hearing about Jon and Kate. They are nobodys that the press is making into somebody. What a shame, If she has it so bad why is she staying. She loves him, come on. It is for the press too. I think no one should print anything about any of them, they are all losers. I feel for those wonderful kids, who Kate says come first. My ass she is always out making speechs or going on talk shows. It is all about Jon and Kate in there eyes. The kids were there to make them money.

Kate has to go "trotting off all over the place" because it's obvious Jon is not interested in helping to support the family. As for Hailey Glassman you need to drop him because the verbal abuse is the sign of a very weak man. Can't you also see that he is not interested in working,so what is your family going to do go on supporting you two forever or will you support Jon forever??

as I've said, as I'll say again, the freak is dangerous, not only to his pot smoking, druggie lay,the biatch, also to his kids, he should NEVER have unsupervised days with the kids. He needs to be locked into a nut house and the key ought to be thrown away. One QUESTION I have, if the Glassman biatch knows he's a nut, why in hell does she drive the car he rents for her and takes that money away from his kids? She is a kept biatch, if she were a strong, independent woman she'd kick his arse to the curb before she contracts AIDS from the monger! And where are her "so called" high society Parents? Wait isn't that the reason he says he left Kate. Because he was tired of being emotionally abused. So why is it ok for him to do it now? And as for him having a lot on his plate now....by that do you mean more responsibilities since they were all taken care of before by his wife. there is NO excuse for her to cry on TV. The stupid biatch, if she tells the truth, she should RUN the other way. What sort of self esteem does she have if she feels this is love? She is a "lay-over" until something better comes along. The guy is a freak, no wonder Kate had to run the family and the show, he's a weak arse! If he's abusive now, he's always been abusive, a leopard doesn't change his spots. The best thing EVER happening to Kate is that the bastido is out of her life, now, all that is left to do is to never allow him near the kids, unsupervised! He will use these kids to get his UGLINESS on the tube. Personally, I am tired of ALL of these "reality" shows. They are all in actuality, "DRAMAS". They target particular groups. Women of pretty much any age, and teens. Possibly middle aged gays as well. All of the participants of these programs, AND those they are involved with are in it to get the money AND their 15 minutes of fame. These people will do anything it takes to keep that clock ticking. Miss Glassman is no different. Here she is talking about how abusive he is, but she stays with him knowing that he is abusive, and she does this openly. WHY? The answer is as plain as the nose on Barbara Streisand's face. She too, is a fame whore. Being called a "fat whore" is something that make most people take a second look at what they are getting involved with, not to mention the abusiveness that she claims to put up with. Since she makes a conscious decision to stay with this, then it is her problem and she had better be ready to take on ANYTHING that comes with the fame she is seeking. I have no sympathy for anyone that allows themselves to stay in a relationship such as this, no matter WHAT their reasoning.

Any kind of publicity is better than none at all. Love is strange, but no stranger than she is. Is she a nut? Liar? Attention freak? This is more of a testament to her shortcomings than his. Jon is a church mouse (field mouse actually) from rural Berks County who was thrust into the limelight. Watching him awkwardly stumble around toward implosion in his new milieu of fame and "wealth" is pretty painful. He's really nothing more than he appears to be. He isn't suddenly going to morph into something other than what he is. Why this woman would stay with him is pretty obvious - money. Or so she thinks. He has nthing apparent to offer other than some time in the limelight, albeit brief. This gal appears to be taking advantage of it. That is a prostitute in my book.

And she really gives a bad reputation to all of the good women.She enforces greed and disception and her children are all learning from her that instead of owning up to your own responsability's it is better to blame somebody else and then run from the situation. The description given of Jon and Hailey's relationship sounds exactly like both my sister's marriage and my sister in law's first marriage. Why do women choose to stay with these controlling, nasty men - it's beyond me? I mean, Kate doesn't seem like any prize either, but I do have to say we don't know the whole picture when reality TV is involved as they always edit it to make the show slant whichever way they want it to. Hailey should also not be talking about the relationship this way, it's tacky - just get out of the relationship and be done with him, he is quite clearly a liar (based on taking the money and denying it and THEN paying it back, AND saying his kids can't be on the TLC show and THEN getting paid to have a camera crew along to get his kids birthday cake etc).
