If he was being checked yearly then there should be an easy cure. I was checked yearly and found I had it last year. Been cancer free for a year. He had flulike symptoms....mmm..Makes me wonder if he did not have a yearly checkup. Caught early there should be no issues. Hopefully he did.

I know what you mean. "Special program"? "flu-like" symtoms? "hope for the best"? I hope I'm wrong but it doesn't sound like someone who had annual checkups and an early diagnosis. I wish him well. And you also.

Good luck Dennis - any form of cancer is a scary thing to have, but you do have a treatable type, so I wish you a 100% recovery!

Apparently google pays these people a little for every blog they print on every blog they can find. Don't click, look, or buy anything they're selling and eventually it will go away.

Diane, I also wonder why they allow people to advertise things here, arent they suppose to be commenting on the subject at hand? This world is just getting sicker by the day.
I love Dennis Hooper and hope he beats this thing. I loved him in "Easy Rider"

can you believe that anyone with an ounce of integrity would use a serious topic like prostate cancer as an opportunity to postspam about dating sites and crappy merchandise? Some people have no human feelings whatsoever. I wish aol would block their addresses.

Best of luck, Dennis! It's great that it's the treatable kind of cancer, though. Hang in there!

DENNIS HOPPER IS ONE OF THE GREATS. I REMEMBER HIM WHEN I WAS 12 YEARS OLD IN GIANT WITH ROCK HUDSON AND ELIZABETH TAYLOR. I LOVED HIM. HE HAS BEEN A VERSATILE ACTOR AND PLAYED MANY ROLES. I HOPE HE IS GOING TO BE OK. I GUESS BY TODAYS STANDARDS GIANT WAS SORT OF HOKEY BUT I LOVED HIM AND JAMES DEAN IN IT. ACTORS HAVE ISSUES IN LIFE JUST LIKE THE REST OF US. HOPPER HAS BEEN A WILD GUY BUT HE IS A GENIUS AND TALENTED. I ADMIRE THAT. HANG IN THERE MR HOPPER.

Good Grief - We are discussing a man that has cancer and these IDIOTS get on here and try to sell their crap and advertise dating services. What cheap, low life, insensitive pieces of crap. They are nothing better than hucksters trying to turn a fast buck and get free advertising.
