I remember the first time I met him. Oct. 26, 1966. We were both photographing the Sunset Strip Riots. Class guy and one heck of an actor

I survived prostate cancer about 8 years ago, and I know that Dennis will come thru it OK too. It is cureable.

If you reading this Dennis God bless you and I will be praying for your speedy recovery. They have some wonderful new treatments and prostate cancer can be cured in a high percentage of cases. Stay strong and we are rooting for you!!!

Re the jerks who advertise, I've been complaining to AOL for months. They pay no attention and just ignore my blogs. They haven't printed one thing I've written in months. So, be careful what you say. If they don't like it - they won't print it. I'm sure they won't print this either

I too remember him from Giant standing up to all for loving an American girl with darker skin than the other Texicans.
With God's help, you'll get well and make a late, late sequel to Giant where his wife will be running for governor of Texas as a republican of course. Get well, Mr. Hopper.

Arthur, you're 100% correct. If there are enough folks to post these articles and comments back at the office, at least one could screen comments for content and take those out that are selling stuff.

Dennis you are one of my all time favorite actors and I adore your wit and humor. May God bless you and grant you a full and speedy recovery. Remember your fans love you and are pulling for you!

My husband had prostate cancer a few years ago and was treated solely with 5 cyberknife sessions on 5 consecutive days. After each treatment, he went to work for the day. He was about 75 at the time. Today, at 79, his PSA levels are negligible! He still works full-time, plays the clarinet in bands and is active in his church. He received the treatment at Overlook Hospital in Summit. We hope for the same outcome for Dennis Hopper and everyone else with this diagnosis.

Dennis Hopper: I have not figured out if it's HIM that's weird or the movies he appears in that are weird. Another few seconds off the clock character is Christopher Walken.

Sending positive thoughts and the best of good healing wishes to Mr. Hopper during his current health issue. Have enjoyed his performances for many years and appreciate his contributions to our film industry. Blessings and a healthy life.

There are a number of alternative, natural treatments for cancer. I'm no chemist, but from what I've studied, CESIUM is one that could potentially help. Cesium is an element on the periodic table. Not many people know about it, but apparently in one trial, 30 out of 30 cancer patients took this natural treatment called Cesium and all 30 lived on without cancer.

Cancer should be a thing of the past already. I can't wait until the day when all you will need is a vaccination and Cancer will be a thing of the past. However, I believe the Health Service Industry makes too much money from "treating" Cancer than eliminating it.
Dennis is a tough old bird. He's going to make it!!!!!

That "C" word is harsh on anyone. I have read all the comments on people who have survived it and am so glad for all of you. Dennis Hopper is great and has loving family and friends and I'm sure the best of care. I should hope he gets well soon. As to those allowed on this site to advertise, it truly is a virus of another sort. Again, to all of you that have survived and share your stories, you are doing us all a service and please keep spreading the news that this is not always a death sentence. Be well.
