Jay-Z and Alicia Keys World Series – If hip-hop hadn't officially gone mainstream American prior to last night, it has now. Jay-Z and Alicia Keys stepped up to the plate at the new Yankee Stadium prior to game 2 of the World Series and belted out a rousing "clean" version of their hit anthem "Empire State of Mind." It worked. The Yankees trounced the Phillies 3-1, evening the series and sending the Bombers on their way to Philadelphia with a little hop in their steps and pop in their bats.

Beanie Sigel Disses Jay-Z – Speaking of Jay-Z, and regional rivalries... This morning rapper Beanie Sigel (who's from Philadelphia) appeared on Hot 97 to debut a new track called "Average Cat" in which he verbally smacks down his label mate. The beef supposedly stems from the fact that Jay-Z, as head of Roc-A-Fella records, didn't adequately market Sigel's 2007 album 'The Solution.' But Sigel tells DJ Kay Slay, "this ain't the green light for everybody to start making diss Jay-Z records."

Bea Arthur – Bea Arthur is the hot dead geriatric gift that keeps on giving. On Tuesday a check for $300,000 arrived at the Ali Forney Center, an organization that houses and supports LGBT runaways. Turns out the cash came from none other than the late 'Golden Girls' great. They don't make 'em like Bea anymore.

Dennis Hopper Cancer – If we were to wish cancer on anyone in the world, it would probably be that evil jet-ski riding, nicotine-addicted apocalyptic pirate in 'Waterworld.' We would never wish it upon the great actor who played him. But today it was made public that Dennis Hopper, 73, is being treated for prostate cancer. A well-respected photographer, Hopper has been forced to cancel an Australia gallery appearance. It's unclear how this development will affect his role on the Starz show 'Crash.'

Ryan Seacrest Radio Show – Adam Lambert news is big news these days. Glambert premiered "For Your Entertainment," the first single from his debut album of the same name, on Seacrest's KIIS FM radio show this morning. This album is soo going platinum. You'll be able to stream the track on his official site later today. Also, what an album cover. As we said, this album is soo going platinum.

Yeah true talent actually and I could go on but I know the source of this so let me step in and out of this. Just because you may not appreciate a genre, an artist or (where I think this really comes from) a race or color of a person doesnt mean you have to ignorantly look down upon it, but wait I forgot, your so talented, so much, that you use your potential to down talk on popeater about people you'll never meet, people who have made achievements you'll never reach. Ive wasted too much life force on you, this site and any of those who seem to be fellow followers of the new "StormFront" which is AOL..

ALICIA HOWEVER IS A TRULY TALENTED ARTIST, ALTHOUGH SHE'S SO MUCH BETTER WHEN SHE LEAVES THIS RAP SH*T OUT OF HER ACT ! SO MUCH EASIER ON THE EARS.

Once I saw the clip of Jay-Z with Beyonce at the White House saying "Black is back and now we have the White House!" Or the new "Black House".......I lost all respect. He sounded like a ignorant, low class, wannabe gangster and she looked like a beautiful fool standing beside him! And don't even get me started on the notion that rap music is a "genre" in and of itself of talented, musical people. Have you listened to the difference between lyrics and music from the 50's, 60's, even 70's and then listened to the crap on the radio today? I respect Smokey Robinson but I have ZERO respect for Jay-Z and his ilk! Wake up America!

I never injected race into the commentary, you did. Next time, pull your head out of your pompous ass before you attempt to spew a mindless rant on a rapper's "talent", which to many is not that obvious......
