Jessica Simpson Has High Hopes For Men

A painful breakup with NFL star Tony Romo might have been the stuff bad years are made of - but Jessica Simpson isn't too discouraged to keep her standards sky-high for the next potential suitor. In an 'Extra' interview that will air today, Simpson shares the qualities of her dream guy... and it seems like the 'Public Affair' singer is looking for the best.

Among her criteria: "I definitely love a spiritual man -- somebody that is going to always inspire me."

The singer/actress went on to say, "I don't want to get bored. I can bore out pretty easily, so I love intellectual men ... people that will always keep me intrigued.... And, you know, I love artistic men -- somebody that really understands their art."

Simpson, who has taken a media beating this year over slight fluctuations in weight, is currently traveling the world for her new show, 'The Price of Beauty,' which will air on VH1 sometime next year. The premise of the show, a source told Us Weekly in May: "She and a friend set off on a road trip around the world in search of what people find beautiful and why."

Preparations for the show have come at exactly the right time for Simpson, she told 'Extra.' "I couldn't have had this journey at a better time in my life -- to seek out beauty, to seek out confidence, and to seek out the power of a woman... It really is about who I am and what I want to become, and what's going to make the best version of myself."

She added, "What people say about me... all that stuff is not really important."

Simpson held onto her positive attitude after leaving the interview studio. The singer posted to her Twitter account last night: "Love you for yourself...don't be defined by anyone else."

This girl (woman)never will learn the real lesson of love. You don't LOOK for a man! He LOOKS for you! All she ever talks about is men. Get a life! Learn how to really sing, and remember the words. She sounds so shallow every time she talks about her "next man".
A real man loves a woman who is secure, and is not "out there" LOOKING!

I don't think that's much to ask for in a man, I think that's what everyone should expect in their man. My husband is smokin hot and a nice Christian man, Aerospace engineer, and plays the guitar. I'm pretty sure he just met all her criteria, so I know there are plenty of nice men out there. But don't get any ideas Jessica, he's my man!! lol

Although not talented, this girl is attractive and if she would just give up trying to make a life in show business, get a normal job, ane meet a normal guy, she might be happy. artistic, inspirational, spiritual, intelligent, exciting... k. Let's call this goal a "Joe Montana". Ditzy, attractive, untalented, unoriginal, and maybe exciting in a "ZOMG!!!! How am I gonna get her out of this one??!!!???" way. Let's call this trade offer, "Josie Idaho".

It takes a lot of Josie Idahos to equal one Joe Montana. And even throwing a lot of money at the problem isn't going to change that due to the basic Josie flaws.

Maybe Jessica should drop off the map for a few years, get away from the posers and the wannabees. Avoiding family get-togethers could solve some of this.

basically, she doesn't bring enough to the table to have something last longer than 5-6 years.
