Jon Gosselin Wants to Make Amends to Hailey, Kate, Etc.

After 22-year-old Hailey Glassman told 'The Insider' that her boyfriend Jon Gosselin is prone to "mantrums" and other bad habits, Gosselin made it clear that he's ready to make amends - to everyone. He told the TV show, "I am committed to making things right with Hailey as well as Kate and especially my children. I ask you to please give me the opportunity to prove myself."

In her own candid interview, Glassman revealed, "He'll call me and take his anger out on me. He has 'mantrums.' I shouldn't have to put up with being emotionally abused."

"People judge me before they meet me. I get threats everyday," she said. "I get called a home wrecker and a fat whore. People will stare or point. It gets worse everyday."

Former 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' star Gosselin later responded, "[She] has paid a significant price to live under such a media microscope. I am grateful for her emotional support and I regret any pain that my actions have caused her as she has selflessly born the pressures I have endured under the media glare."

I feel sorry for Kate. Jon has ruined any chance he ever had with getting back in any one's good graces. He just keeps sinking to lower and lower levels. How sad. I use to look up to him as a responsible parent and a good person, now I just think he's a media craving monster. Limelight ruins perfectly good people and turns them into monsters.

Jon should keep his mouth shut or just say "No Comment" when he's asked questions. This is a good way for him to start to "Redeem" himself by showing that he's capable of not feeding private information about himself and his family to the media every minute! I do hope that Jon Gosselin will change his attitude and actions and stop embarrassing his children. Jon's "feelings", and happiness do not matter. His children's feelings and happiness are, and should be his first concern.

The opinions of, so called "news reporters" or of so called "celebrities" are useless. They should clean around their own doors before they comment on the actions of others. Many of them want to give the impression they are so "above" such actions, and "know" what has and is movating Jon and Kate. They know nothing about it, and even their so called "guest" professionals have no honest and truthful clues.

From what I read Jon is the one that lets the media know where he is & where he is going so he can get photographed as much as possible & I thought he was the one that wanted to get out of the spotlight & have a normal life, but I guess a regular job like most people have don't pay enough money for him! He's a wimp, a creep & a liar & as far as I can see he has nothing to offer anybody in the looks & personality department!!

I can not see why some of you are blaming Kate, til they are divorced, Jon is cheating on Kate plain and simple. My ex husband did that to me, it is heart breaking to go through a divorce then have your husband already have a a girlfriend before the divorce is final. It is a slap in the face. Kate is having to deal with all this in the public eyes, my heart goes out to her.

I was married to a man like Jon, so when I first started hearing how Kate was the "bossy one," I knew better.

Men like Jon are "little boys" - they either don't want to make decisions, or they make stupid decisions (like Jon's stupid suggestion about where the kids' playhouses should go). Then, when their wives have to be "the adult" and take responsibility and make the intelligent choice, these men call their wives "control freaks." These types are also prone to MAJOR tantrums...verbally abusive tantrums.

All anyone has to do is watch old reruns, and they will see that Kate has always done 80% of the work. Even though they were both "full-time parents" - only Kate was the real "full-time parent".

When Jon and Kate first split, I told everyone...just watch...give him enough rope and he'll hang himself. He'll show his true colors...and he has.

BTW...this present GF will not be around much longer...she doesn't need this abuse.

Hey Marie it is obvious from the anger in your words that you have issues going on in your life as well, and to watch something like this only adds fuel to your fire. I realize you can find some similarities in their situation and yours but what you need to be looking for are ways to implement happiness and satisfaction in your life. If you are driven to berating your partner because you think you have to, then something is already very seriously wrong with your relationship. It is truly saddening to see people stuck in the rut of unsatisfying relationships and what it does to their outlook on life. Think back to the last time you really laughed, laughed for more than a few short seconds, the last time you had a day that you would call "a great day filled with laughter and love". There is no reason you should not build a life with that being a regular part of everyday life, NO REASON!!. There is no reason with a little work that every day cannot be fulfilling and happy. People were not put here to suffer, and there is still so much out there to enjoy and fulfill your life and if you have children then the need is that much more urgent!! Life is really so short, and you get no lost days back, make memories worth having! Don't let your anger and unhappiness be your legacy and education to your children, let them know it is not only ok to have a life worth enjoying, but it is paramount. A life where love and acceptance is the norm and not the exception. Personal satisfaction with your life is your god given right, don't let anger and resentment tinged with the desire for revenge get in the way of all the beauty life has to offer. Think of all the suffering those before you had to go through to make this world the way it is, and now when we actually have a choice of how to direct our lives, it would just be such a waste to have a poor choice alone be responsible for the things you miss out on in life. Control what you can in your life, and live out the rest in happy pleasure knowing you did your best. And who cares about Jon and Kate. They had it ALL handed to them on a silver platter and they BOTH Threw it away, and they did it with their children right there in the background. they had so many chances especially with the ability to go back and WATCH their arguments over and see where things went wrong, but no they just trudged on right over the edge. They had the ability to live the way so many couples dream of, with so little left to want for and yet it was still not enough for either of them to swallow a little pride for the sake of their dear children, to realize they are seeing every bit of it, I mean come on what lesson arre they supposed to learn from this? How much more warninig do you need? Please don't be doomed to repeat their failure. Live YOUR life and make it one your kids can be proud of!!

I used to love to watch the show in the beginning but as I watched kate act abusive towards Jon I just got disgusted with the show. I think both Jon and Kate need to grow up, get a job and raise their children. They both are very greedy for money. They both should be ashamed of themselves. They're both boring.

I would like to see Jon And Kate get back together
and let all of this mess flow down the river for the kids sake. All of the attention they received has overwelmed them and they seem to have got caught up in it. They should call a truse and build their relationship back. Yes, it will take time and a lot of work, but aren't those kids worth it?
