Spike Jonze Slaps Kanye for Texting

Spike Jonze seems to have played out the fantasy of many people post-VMAs, as the acclaimed director gives Kanye West a big old slap across the face in an outtake from the duo's 'Once Upon a Fairy Tale' video that emerged earlier this month. West's incessant texting was enough to drive Jonze to violence ... at least for video purposes. See For Yourself:

In the video, Jonze and West are seen in a bathroom in between scenes from 'Fairy,' when West refuses to stop texting and checking his phone as Jonze tells him how he sees the next scene taking place. After discussing the texting with West, Jonze becomes irritated, and eventually throws a smack towards West's face.

In the original version of 'Fairy Tale,' which was filmed before West's infamous MTV Video Music Awards outburst in which he interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech, was supposed to be released the week prior to the VMAs but was delayed for unknown reasons.

Thanks to the backlash against West in the weeks following the awards show tantrum, the release of the video was delayed even further.

In 'Fairy Tale,' a drunken West is seen on his birthday playing up what many view as his character flaws: his bravado, ego and cockiness. He parades around a club yelling about his song being played, drunkenly dances, and later encounters a suicidal demon in the bathroom.

Seriously people is there are waaay dumber and more ignorant people than Kanye West. If you see what I see on the daily, Kanye looks like a genius compared to many of the average Americans (of any race!) If you read this post, do yourself a favor and conduct a small social experiment during your spare time. Count the number of stupid people doing stupid things throughout a day. You'll be shocked and amazed, I guarantee it!
