Mel Gibson's Girlfriend Gives Birth

Mel Gibson's girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva has given birth to a baby girl, officially making Mel an Octo-dad. RadarOnline is exclusively reporting that Grigorieva gave birth to the couple's daughter on Oct. 30, which was a few weeks before her anticipated due date in December. No details, such as the baby's name or weight were given, but the report says both mom and the daughter are doing just fine.

Gibson and Grigorieva made headlines across the world when their affair led to Robyn Gibson -- Mel's wife of nearly 30 years and mother of seven of his children -- to file for divorce in April of 2009. Upon announcing the divorce, the couple released a statement saying: "Throughout our marriage and separation we have always strived to maintain the privacy and integrity of our family and will continue to do so."

Just a month after the divorce papers were filed, the new couple announced that they were expecting, and soon after revealed that they were engaged. The couple has yet to marry, and no wedding date has been announced.

Grigorieva is a Russian model and musician who released an album this summer. She has a son with former '007' star Timothy Dalton.

Mel looks OLD and Worn out! I agree that Mel should be nutered! Too much drinking, too many kids, and too young of a girlfriend...NOW he's lost all his marbles. Once a Hollywood Leading Man ..now he can't get a part in any decent film. Oh well, Mel is last years news...he'll go the way Nick Nolte and others went...

Well, Mel has bought his way into heaven to make up for his hypocritical ways. A staunch catholic who gives the catholic church nearly 6 million dollars to "defend the sanctity of marriage" in california. I don't know how these people can sleep. All the more reason to let gay couples marry. Are the heteros afraid that gays might have a lower divorce rate?

It doesn't matter if the kid is a bastard or not, she is still a human being so the Church does recognize the child. However, the child would have to be baptized to be Catholic, so we don't know if the kid is Catholic or not. Of course if the parents are Catholic then generally the kids are Catholic.
