Personally, I hated this show. I hated the people in the show. It was the dumbest show in the world. "Family has 8 kids, lets make them famous and basically ruin their children's chances of living a normal life." Cuz nobody in the world has ever had more than 8 kids, right? I just think its very stupid and over rated that a random family gets a random T.V. show and makes millions for nothing. I'm so happy the show is over, but they can't get over the fact that their fame is up =P

and by the way, I love it how people are saying stuff in their comments like 'jon, blah blah blah,' and 'kate, yap yap yap' like they are actually gonna come on AOL and read these XD

hilarious... Kate is to blame for a GROWN man not being able to keep his pants zipped or his mouth shut. Last i checked he was over the age of 18 even though he acts younger then all 8 of his children. Did you ever stop to think Lillian that Kate had to act the way she did with this moron. But his having sex with the Nanny while his kids were in the house is OK? And then having an affair with the daughter of the surgeon who did Kate's tummy tuck and taking her to Paris while the cameras followed, that's OK? He is also trying to get a reality program, so how is he different from Kate? No, he started all of this and it is ALL his fault.

Let me get this straight. So it is Kate's fault that John is parading around with other women, that he is spending money beyond his means, that he has 8+ children with her? No one forced him to do these, things, he did them on his own. He is a man-child. Do you know what that means? It's precisely this behaviour and type of demeanour that made Kate have to tell him what to do - otherwise he would have done NOTHING. There are children at stake - one cannot just go around being selfish and living life on the hog while the children will be exposed to this behaviour. You blame Kate for being money hungry - but that is called survival. Somehow she needed to bring home the money - it was her ambition that got him that girlfriend, that money, those clothes. Mothers do what they need to do to raise their children. That is the life they chose - don't be judging as you sit there and watch the show or entertain your beady eyes by reading the blogs only to comment and ecuse the man child that he is. You must have grown up thinking that men are there to be taken care of -- and women should just put up with ths. He was clearly a boy - who looked as kate as his mother figure. Now that he realizes he's losing ground, he is retracting... typical. You are obviously one of those types of women, that when their man cheats, you blame the woman he is cheating with - not the man. GROW UP!

Reminds me of a couple I knew years ago. Went from being loving couple to her treating him like that. He cheated on her while she was pregnant, she was making him pay and he took it. They eventually divorced after he cheated on her again.

I never watched the show but saw the commercials. My thought on how she treated him is that she somehow felt 'entitled' to and that he thought so to. Probably screwed around on her when she was pregnant was my thought.

I agree with Lillian. People are so quick to throw Jon under the bus. Both Jon and Kate are wrong. And for anyone who HASN'T seen the show, Kate is a total jerk. She treats everyone poorly and it has been evident for most of the run of the show that she and Jon can't stand each other...I mean, one episode she is all diva-d out and takes her sons to a dude ranch in Wyoming. Jon and the girls trip? I scavenger hunt in the backyard in PA. WTF?

You might want to read a few other comments made in the last few days. He talks about how TLC only showed the conflict between he and Kate on the show. He also said that the two of them always resolved those conflicts but TLC never included that footage in the show. While I'm no fan of Jon by any means, this is one thing he has said that I do believe.

apparently JODY YOU MUST NOT HAVE WATCHED THE SHOW, it was JON that bathed the kids ALL OF THEM, changed there diapers, fed them breakfast, dressed them MOST OF THE TIME, brought the all high and MIGHTY QUEEN B*tch coffee in bed, because she could NOT deal with anything before 8am, you need to go back and watch some past episodes, watching one now, and claims to eat ALL organic, well she's stuffing down a sloppy joe and fries now!!! I could go on and on, but WATCH THE SHOW, she didn't do much BUT BARK orders, of do this and that, and it was never to her satisfaction, if she were such a perfectionist, then get off ur A** and do it yourself, I would NEVER degrade my husband the way she did/does, if I EVER treated him the way Kate treated Jon, he would have left A LONG TIME AGO. When Jon got tired of being degraded and had enough he left, granted NOT appropriatley BUT we do NOT no EVERYTHING that when on when cameras were off.
