Did Kevin Spacey Get Waiter Fired?

Waiter Peter Turner claims he was fired from his job after he was instructed by his boss to tell Kevin Spacey that he had to stop smoking because it was a violation of state law. According to RadarOnline, Turner approached the group with the request, and the actor allegedly went ballistic, screaming, "You're an aggressive prick." Three days later, Turner was "laid off."

The incident allegedly occurred back in June at Clarke Cooke House in Newport, Rhode Island. Turner said he initially made a joke to the smokers, saying: "You're not allowed to smoke in here unless you're on fire."

But the Oscar-winning actor wasn't amused and allegedly exploded in anger. "I need you to get the f*** away from my table," Spacey said.

Turner told his boss about the incident and was told "If the owner knew you pissed off Kevin Spacey, he'd have me fire you."

Three days later, Turner was "laid-off" from his job, but a replacement was hired for his position. The lay off has been a huge financial strain for Turner, who is working part-time as a caterer. "I was banking on making somewhere between $12,000 and $18,000. That's basically what I am out because someone thought that they were more privileged than anyone else," he said.

I am a male bartender in NYC and was hit on by Kevin Spacey numerous times one busy evening..he was at a table, kept sending notes over to me, offerered me 1000 bucks to go to his hotel, and came over to me twice during the few hours he was in the restaurant saying "U are hot, I want you tonight..."...He was a little drunk, way too flirty, I just smiled and kept saying no, but I can see how he can be belligerent...Someone even called the restaurant the next morning looking for me, and hostess said it sounded like him...Not sure if he is closeted, but he was quite "open" that night...his table was all men, could tell a few were couples, and one woman, who brought the notes over to me from him...needless to say, I believe this waiter.

Well, you know, Kevin likes to puff on those faggots( another term for cigarette). He's a real sensitive guy.

Many actors and actresses are like that. I do not think this guy could fabricate this whole thing from beginning to end just to smear Kevin Spacey. I mean seriously do people really think the guy had made up quotes ready to go. Kevin Spacey is most likely a prick who needs a silver foot up his a-- like most of these actors and actresses who step on people. This is why I don't idolize celebs, I don't care for them. I can't stand Oprah. I remember she ranted and raved about this hotel on her show b/c they would not allow her dogs to stay. They had a policy of no pets, but to her she is Oprah and they should make an exception for her. To this day I cannot stand that woman or any celeb who thinks they deserve whatever they want.

This entire "article" was totally written with NOTHING verified by anyone except the so-called waiter. Nowhere is there a direct quote from anyone with the restaurant or anyone else, such as another patron...meaning ALL information came directly from the waiter...ALL. In other words, this is nothing but one man's rant, unverified by the fool who wrote the article. Until many other people come forward and say, "yes, I was there and that happened", or "I'm the owner and I said to let the waiter go", etc, I am NOT believing any of it. And it's NOT because I'm a huge Spacey fan either!

The waiter deserves an apology. Kevin Spacey should be in the dictionary under 'has been.' His career was sandbagged by the dreadful biopic he directed, Bobby Darin story, and it's about time, because this nerd can't act. Rent 'Bobby Darin' movie with a group of people and sit back to see what a dork Spacey is. Pay special attention to the dance sequences. Unbelievably bad.

Kevin Spacey needs to get off his pricky and no one is better than me attitude. the waiter has a good case in court where the judge can decide just how much Spacey is worth. If the judge is like me it will be not a penney and a big win for the waiter.

From what I have been reading, this is not the first time Spacey has thrown a tirade. If this was one incicent then I could say ok, maybe the waiter is making it up, but this is not the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time. Spacey is a habitual a--hole. Even some of the posters site issues he has had. So I highly doubt this guy is making this up.
And it wasn't even the guys fault. He was doing his job. He was fired because some a--wipe manager knew to send the guy out there to do the dirty work b/c he knew what would happen. I work around managers and bosses like that all day. In the end you are expendable. People get fired everyday b/c of something their prick managers, leads or whatever tells them to do. I know a friend who had several managers and each one would tell them to do one thing, and the other would come back and tell them to do something. He was always in trouble b/c there were too many chiefs and not enough Indians.

he deserved to get fired for being a busy body little prick by going up to him and telling him to put his cigarette out. l dont smoke. im 32 but ive been around people who smoke all my life, and as long as they're not blowing it in my face, they can smoke til their hearts content......so he lost his job because he wanted to be a little "pollyanna" fag, and try to make the world a better place by telling a man to put out his cigarette. what a pathetic terd.
