The '80s remake hits ABC starting Tuesday night for a four-episode swing that will be interrupted by the 2010 Winter Olympics and then resume in March. You've probably heard the premise before. They come in peace and they're HOT. In fact, they're too hot to come in peace. And that, of course turns out to be the case.

Kim Kardashian Halloween Costume – We've said it before, and we'll say it again. The best part about Halloween 2K9 is that it's an entire weekend long. That's great news whether you just want to party like a crazy person or try out a selection of costumes on the public eye. Kim Kardashian opted for the latter, rocking a busty Princess Jasmine costume one night, and a Snow White outfit the next. Tyra Banks got in on the Kimdamonium, dressing up as the middle Kardashian daughter on her Friday show.

Silver Alert – 84-year-old Arthur Mulkey has gone missing. He was last seen in Maryland driving his red Chevy pickup near route 40 just west of Frederick. This is the first Silver Alert in Maryland history, hitting headlines just a month after the state's Silver Alert law went into effect. Keep your eyes peeled.

Alanis Morissette – Big week for Alanis. First she ran in the New York City Marathon on Sunday, crossing the finish line in a respectable 4 hours and 30 minutes. Then on Monday night she sang the National Anthem at Game 5 of the World Series between the Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Yankees. She didn't hesitate to let her allegiances be known. "I'm a Yankees fan," the singer told reporters after belting out the tune.

Karate Kid Remake – Look, if it was made in the '80s and it made a ton of money, then there's a good chance it's getting re-made within the next couple years (see 'Robocop,' 'Footloose,' etc.). Call it a generation thing – 30 years elapses and there's a whole fresh batch of wallets ready to pour forth their contents for a proven story. Well, the 'Karate Kid' is happening, though it's recently been revealed that the film will be called 'Kung Fu Kid.' Still, you can expect the same characters more or less, with Will's son Jaden in the leading role and Jackie Chan as Mr. Miyagi. My wallet's already open for this one.

Willie Aames – You might remember Willie Aames as Buddy Lembeck on 'Charles in Charge.' Or maybe you remember him as Fred Robinson in 'Swiss Family Robinson.' Maybe you don't remember him at all.
