Mariah Carey Takes a Tumble on 'Leno'

Oh, the trials and tribulations of high heels. Mariah Carey almost went face-first into Jay Leno's stage during a taping of his show on Monday night, thanks to some iffy footwork by the crooner. As Carey was making her way onto the stage, she tripped up and nearly fell forward, but somehow managed to stay upright.

Like a true professional, Carey laughed off the gaffe and went on with the show -- like all Hollywood entertainers must.

Carey was on 'Leno' to discuss not just her record-shattering music career and love life with Nick Cannon, but mostly her new movie 'Precious,' which is getting serious Oscar buzz.

I agree 100% with you. She has such talent, but she doesn't know how to dress. Where is her management team? Can't they help? I saw her on TV when she was in New York doing an outdoor concert -- it might have been on Good Morning, America -- not sure -- but she had a simple black dress on that was close fitting, not cut so low, and her hair was curly, the way she used to wear it. She looked so cute and much thinner too. That look is much more flattering -- and classy -- on her.

That overweight porker seems to be a bit topheavy. It's no wonder her legs can't stand the strain. All that junk in her caboose isn't helping either. Somebody was saying they wanted to see her boobs pop out if she fell. Those sagging udders of hers wouldn't be much of a sight to see. The milkman might mistake her for a dairy cow. It's an insult to the cow because cows are one of my favorite animals.

No Michael you're right.. it wasn't a tumble.. a trip.. but not a tumble. Apparently the Leno show needs to make a level area not one w/ a lifted area. Performers are busy looking at the audience.. not the floor.
It would be nice if Jay would walk over and extend a hand and escort the lovely ladies out to be seated.
Could be huge law suit.. if not!

As far as her clothing.. she won't change, its her "signature". Just like Dolly Parton.

Unfortunately it makes her appear heavier than she probably is.. by toning it down a little.. it wouldn't look so "off".
