'2012' Star Hopes The World Doesn't End

Last night PopEater got a chance to hit the red carpet for the premiere of the new Roland Emmerich disaster film, '
2012'. If you're not familiar with the significance of that year, you will be soon. According to the Mayan calendar, the world will end on December 21st, 2012 and if this film is to be believed, we're going out with a bang.
We caught up with
Chin Han, who plays Tenzin in the film. Though his character's arc is top secret, we were told that he features prominantly in the last third of the film. Han was also seen in last year's blockbuster, '
The Dark Knight'. Not bad for his first American film! Han tells us that the only way to top two giant action movies is with...a musical!
I know your character is a bit of a secret in the film. But what can you tell us?
"Um, I play Tenzin, a Tibetan who, by virtue of where he lives, finds out a secret that the governments are keeping from the people. And then I set out to save my family. And that is a harder task than I earlier envisioned."
Were you familiar with the the 2012 prophecy before the film?
"No, no. I wasn't. I found out about it through the script and then I started reading up about it. I looked up a lot of literature on it."
You've been in 2 American films, and they're both huge! 'The Dark Knight' and, of course, '2012'. How do you top that?
"I think with a musical." [laughs]
Are you a singer?
"I used to sing. I used to have a band. I play the piano, so I've told my manager, 'look out for '
High School Musical 6' for me.
Ha! Is there actually a musical that you'd like to do?
"I hear they're doing '
Miss Saigon' now. Maybe that. I think that could be interesting."
Favorite role?
"The pimp, obviously. Because he gets the coolest suits. They're all purple."
So what would you do if the 2012 prophecy turned out to be true and the world was coming to an end?
"I would be very disappointed after having done these two big movies, and continuing to receive residuals on them, I would be very disappointed that the world would end in 2012".

On the Mayan calendar, does it say the end of the world or does it say something else? Has anyone really interpert the calandar? Only a Mayan can do that.

The Mayan Calendar does not say the world will end...that date is only the end of the mayan calendar when it complete a 5000+ year cycle and starts over, we will enter the age of aquarius...and we are moving from the iron age into the bronze age...also entering the 4th dimension (the great awakening)...the world will be tried by fire...pandemics, economics, disasters...this will manifest over the months and years after...washing away the filth to bring mother earth into this new age....the world will however, continue...

Frankly, I would rather go by the Jewish calendar -- at least that gives us a lot of really fun holidays before the world comes to an end. Oh, yes and the Jewish calendar doesn't predict an end to the world -- only to stupidity.
All you doomsayer freaks have been causing stress to loads of people especially lots of children for a long time now.You f***ing morons!!!!!!!!! Nothing will happen in 2012.The only way that anyone will die is if you gullible idiots all go and commit suicide.
David Morrison at Nasa says that this 2012 trash is A HOAX.
