Kourtney Kardashian Shares First-Time Mom Fears

Kourtney Kardashian never meant to introduce a baby to the cast of her reality show 'Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami.' Kardashian, who tells Life & Style that a missed dose of her birth control pills caused her happy accident, says, "It was just meant to be."

In the interview, which Life & Style has shared exclusively with PopEater, Kardashian shares her fears about motherhood, her love for her belly, and her plans with on-again, off-again boyfriend Scott Disick.

Eight months into her pregnancy, Kardashian is happy, healthy, and expecting a baby boy. "My pregnancy has been wonderful," she says. "I love being pregnant. I'm excited to be a mom - but I'm nervous."

"Kourtney is nervous and excited all wrapped into one. It's a whole new set of responsibilities," her mom Kris Jenner says, but adds that Kardashian has whatever help she needs. "She's got a lot of support from the entire family."

The audience will see Kardashian's pregnancy on season four of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians,' but Kourtney isn't worried about viewers seeing her round belly. "I'm totally excited to gain weight, and I'm embracing it," she tells Life & Style. "I run around naked all day at home! I like that my body is changing. It's a beautiful thing."

The reality star has every right to be confident . She shares that her stomach is the only part of her that's grown much - according to Kourtney, she's still sporting size 4 dresses, "as long as they're stretchy and don't really zip."

As for her relationship with dad-to-be Disick, Kardashian says he's putting in the effort to make amends with her family. "Scott and I have been going to different parenting classes," Kourtney tells Life & Style. "They made me nervous at first, putting all kinds of information into my head, but they're helpful. They're a fun thing for Scott and me to do together. But honestly, I think nothing can really prepare us except hands-on experience."

With the baby due just around the corner in December, Kardashian says, "We're both nervous and very excited. We're ready to be parents but nervous because we want to do everything perfectly."

Who really cares what a person does or does not do. The problem is how this young woman explained her pregnancy. No one "accidentally" gets pregnant and it doesn't usually happen after only one missed dose of a medication. It would be more accurate to call the pregnancy careless. Not all people are careless in their sexual behavior and not all pregnancies are unplanned. To go further, some pregnancies are actually planned and well thought out, but unfortunately many people have magical thoughts centering around a fantasy such as one seen in a fairytale. The truth is that a baby will be born and life will become much more difficult for all people involved. We need to quit describing pregnancies as "accidents" and stop describing the moment of conception as "unplanned" when words such as careless or irresponsible fit more accurately. There is nothing wrong with single parenthood, especially when it is better for the young child to live in an environment that is not filled with hate and rage when people feel forced to live with each other when they truly dislike each other.

yeah i like that "a missed dose of birth control pills" caused a "happy accident" and that is was "meant to be" well yeah, if your trying to trap a guy it is, which it sounds like she succeeded in doing just that!! What great role models to have on national TV for ALL our young girls who watch this...what has happened to family values?

Girls with lots of their own money don't need to trap the guy! They don't need them! The only guys that are trapped are the ones that don't want a baby or the girl which in that case they shouldn't be involved in actions that might get them pregnant! Guys trap themselves! He isn't going to pay child support so he has no trap!
