Taylor Swift Mocks Kate Gosselin, Kanye and Joe Jonas on 'SNL'

Taylor Swift, host of this week's 'Saturday Night Live,' didn't spend much time addressing Kanye West's stage storming incident. She made brief mention in an opening song that included all the topics she doesn't want to talk about: her break-up with Joe Jonas and "that werewolf from 'Twilight'", Taylor Lautner. Later in the evening she even spoofed Kate Gosselin. Watch the videos after the jump. >>

"You might be expecting me to say something about Kanye and how he ran up on the stage at the VMAs," she sang. "But there's nothing more to say, 'cause everything's OK. I've got security lining the stage."

She also referenced her nasty breakup with Joe Jonas: "You might think I'd bring up Joe Jonas, that guy who broke up with me on the phone, but I'm not gonna mention him in my monologue. Hey Joe, I'm doing real well. Tonight, I'm hosting SNL but I'm not gonna brag about that in my monologue. La la la. Ha ha ha. La la la."

Later she spoofed Kate Gosselin, complete with the famous reverse mullet, on 'The View.' Watch:

I think Taylor Swift is a really cute, sweet and talented Artist. I am a Kanye fan and yes, Kanye was absolutly wrong for what he did at her VMA moment. But I have to say this, I had no idea who she was before the Kanye incident, and now I am very aware of her whenever I see her. I am still a Kanye fan, but I am also now a Taylor Swift fan, and several of my friends have said the same thing. So, in an odd kind of way, that incident actually helped her gain more fans and now she has an even bigger and more diverse fan base. You go girl...

OK I think Taylor was great! SNL is def not as funny as it used to be (not even close) BUT this was a funny episode thanks to Swift. AND to all you haters out there that say she can't sing and she isn't talanted.. seriously where are u? Are u famous? I didn't think so. I am a country fan and i have seen her twice opening up for Brad Paisley and for Rascal Flatts. She CAN sing and to be honest her live performace was what made me a fan. I am so sick of the public putting down a sweet, wholesome, talanted celebrity. She is a mothers dream for a role model and does not deserve this negativity...who raised u?? As my Mother always taught me "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all"

She is a great person and role model. However, she doesn't sing well live. Most are not "haters" we have a better ear for what is in tune and pleasant to listen to. Does that mean we hate her or her music, no. As a fellow country fan, would you agree that Charlie Daniels doesn't have the best voice in world, but he sure is famous and fun to listen to. Taylor Swift is soft-of the same, but a much better role model, though!!!

I thought she did a GREAT job. I was very pleasantly surprised and proud of her. And for all of you who are so sick and tired of hearing about Taylor, you can thank Kanye's boorish behavior for spreading her name far and wide! Prior to his alcohol induced debacle on national TV, Taylor was mostly known only in country music circles. But after the big broo-ha-ha with Kanye storming the stage, her name was catapulted into every home in America. Now, EVERYBODY knows her name! Like the old saying says, "there's no such thing as bad publicity, just make sure you spell the name right!"

I dont understand how some people think that her lyrics are too childlike. All songs are about boys, breakups, getting the girl, things that have a common ground with regular people. As to her singing, i am not a fan. I think its just that she is a country singer, and I dont like country.

This young woman is simply wonderful in all areas..The best SNL since the 70's..Her future has no limits, she will be a terrific actress..You could also tell the entire ensemble was having a great time....

Thought Taylor Swift was great! Not only can she sing, but she can act! Was very surprised how well she performs. She has a sense of humor, is willing to make a little fun of herself. Enjoyed the whole show. Bravo to Taylor!

Wow! I thought Taylor did a bang up job hosting SNL. And it was funny stuff...kudos to her AND to SNL for a good week of humor. I guess Swift surprised me because she's so young...but she handled the acting well. Even though I think her music is pretentious pop, and her clothes and guitars are a little glam, apparently she herself is pretty down to earth...now that's country.

Taylor Swift is a very good actress. I saw her on an episode of the original C.S.I. and she was very good. She was also quite funny on S.N.L.. It takes a special talent to be funny. I think her and Justin Timberlake would be good on there together because whenever he is on it's hilarious, mainly because like her,he can easily laugh at himself!

Ts is soo hot! I'd like to lick her butt. Not just kiss it. MMMM
Her and Romeo of the Dallas Cowboys made a cute couple too. They scored a lot.
