Australian music critics have greeted Britney Spears on her first concert tour down under with poor reviews and stories of fans walking out of her show. On top of that, government officials have been critical of the singer for her use of lip-syncing during performances. All the criticism has traumatized Spears."Britney is aware of all this and she's extremely upset by it," Paul Dainty, Spears' tour promoter, told The Australian on Monday. "She's a human being. I'm embarrassed, with such a big international entourage here with Britney, to be part of the Australian media when I see that kind of totally inaccurate reporting."

Britney has made millions so far in her career. Who are YOU to say that she is no good? Millions say she is great. Lipsyncing, she has done it in the past and is part of her show...so shut it and go put a shrimp on the barbie and get some o dat ausstrailian for beer from da frig.
i disagree she is great so she lip sync's HER OWN MUSIC. she is not a waste. you cannot compare her to bush. i am glad to see her back and going strong but people dont understand what it is like to not have the privacy to have a life but she got mad money. leave her be she is a strong woman
too many people come in the guise of fans, i an not a follower or fan, but I do think media will do anything to keep selling papers , they want dirt so people can read.... she has problems so they want to say she sucks so they can sell a paper. 1500 bucks for a ticket, 200 bucks for a ticket , some people loave her to pay that kind of cash... Dont hate if you cant pull the bucks even from bull crap....

Good to hear shes still as bad as she was when I saw her in the late '99-2000. I said then I would never go to another one of her concerts. She had poor stage presence and she was already a diva, showing up late for the concert she was playing even though she was the opening act... oh, did I mention, she paid another band to preform before her becasuse she didn't want to be the opening act... they were also late. Britney, please... hang it up!

I saw Britney Spears at Madison Square Garden in August and SHE WAS LIP SYNCING THERE TOO! Where was this story months ago. I am a fan, but was VERY dissappointed in her show. Wasted $350.00 on tickets! Jordin Sparks was 100% better in the opening act. Sorry Brit, you were awful LIVE. You sound better on the radio!

She is a human being....she has a profession....and she's made a career out of it . The profession she claims is SINGER, and not "Lip Syncer". What she claims to be offering for hefty ticket prices is a CONCERT. This is the Wikipedia definition of concert: A concert is a live performance, usually of music, before an audience.
Not the playing of a tape or CD. What Britney and others do is simple FRAUD as long as they do not officially sell "Playback Shows"

watch a commercial lately, antidepressants are big in america... the same people who write smear probally pop the same pills as Britney.... especially when they have to choose between getting a story and losing their job.
