Soho: You have the most relevant observation thus far. I agree 100%. I fail to understand WHAT she could (legally) do for me on stage that would get me to lay out $1500. That is insane.
If she sucks, she sucks. Anyone who has truly seen her sing live can attest to that. Maybe she should take this as a hint to finally go away!

Britney is NOT a strong singer but she CAN sing. I have seen her in concert and it's a fabulous show with some singing and some not but a whole lot of entertaining. I just want to know why this is the topic of the day? Seriously... nothing else to talk about? If you don't like her MOVE ON!
How'bout she coughs up the performance to the "public" they've paid for, then they'll move on. There's nothing like being ripped off by a celebrity, they're already over compensated attention whores.
Lip-syncing is like playing air-guitar. It's a charade!
No one pays to see her sing. I went to see her fall on her face, again and again. She is a great example of what our country is becoming. Cute on the outside and trash on the inside. Its a shame
Amen! She needs to pack up the double-wide and get the f out of dodge!!
i agree! but singers in general cannot be expected to sing every song at every concert! and how are they supposed to do all those dances at the same time!
THANK YOU! ENOUGH OF THIS TYRAILER TRASH ALREADY! Want to see a great LIVE show, Take to a U2 concert, now that is a show!
If she is so bad why has she had so many top 5 hits this year? Some one out there must like her.

The reason she has been popular is cause she shows her body for the most part! Also you must have her mixed up with Lady Gaga cause Britney has not had many hits this year. She had 2 last year when her cd came out. Another reason she is so popular is because there are people who just hear a catchy beat and think it makes someone an artist
Exactly!!
Remember Milli Vanilli, they could'nt sing, they still had a bunch of hits. Talent or ability have very little to do with "hits" in the music industry. Marketing, Packaging and promoting have everything to do with it. Look at the "disney marketing machine" Run their talent through the entire network, from T.V shows to record and concerts. As I said very little singing talent involved
it's called pr work and people buying into stuff. Studio work, overdubbing, hours and hours of work in the studio to make her sound better. back in the day-they would record 10 songs in a day. (didn't need to fix anything~they were already good.) nowadays, days and days in a studio to perfect 1 song.
I have two words for you all TINA TURNER......that is what you call a true performer. She does NOT lip sync, she sings everything live, dances, changes costumes and performs the best live show in the world.
Yes betsy someone does like her and do you know who? A bunch of tasteless teeny-boppers with rich parents that don't mind blowing mega-bucks so their kids can go watch a dancer lip sync.
If she's so bad then how come she's ranked as the artist of the decade and won more awards and records then even Mariah Carey and/or Beyonce?.... I saw the "T.C.S.B.S." (The Circus Staring Britney Spears) concert and it was crazy as hell! I was amazing actually! And honestly as far as I'm concerned almost every artist out there have never gotten the publicity that Britney gets, fortunately for them. And also most every artist goes through drug sprees and breakdowns of insanity.
why don't they leave the poor girl alone. She has been under a microscope since a young age and has been put through the mill by the media who seem to not have any better things to do.She obviously has talent or wouldn't have the number of hits she has. Just let her do her thing, go see her if you like her and don't go if you don't just leave her alone already.
She has top hits because they use machines to make her voice sound pleasant enough to remix a good dance song for the clubs and, God love 'em, a LOT of gay men. She's the modern era Cher. If you just watch Disney, you'll see that being able to sing has very little to do with anything. The entertainment industry can make anyone look good. I would classify her as a member of the "circus", not a real artist packing a voice like Celine Dion or anything. And who says that's a totally bad thing? The circus sells out every time it comes to town.
Betsy So True. Do you people really think all artist sing their whole concert? Come on people
