'Twilight' Star Gives Us Her 'New Moon' for PETA

'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' human Christian Serratos -- who plays Bella's sympathetic friend Angela in the series -- strips down for a new PETA ad.

Serratos lends her naked body to the 'I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur' campaign that's popular among celebrities.

In the ad, the actress leans up against a tree in a forest that looks like it's straight out of the movies that made her famous.

Wow.... you really did that...??? You are soooooooooo cool... Hey listen I heard that meat is really good for you and that you should eat it at least 4 meals a day and every night before you go to bed you should drink an extra large milkshake with sausage. Please do this as much as possible and pass iton to your meat eating friends so we can move forward as a species while the dumber of us dies off. I ask you king dumba** what is it that YOU are doing for the things you truly believe in? Are you really taking a stand for anything at all in your life or do you just spend your time about things that you actually really never do anything about yourself like 9 out of 10 of the other fools that have written similar garbage like you...

I am officially, right here and now, starting a group called PETV, people for the ethical treatment of vegetables. All animal life is merely a parasitic organsism, it eats other animals, vegatables, or both animals and vegatables. The vast majority of plants (except for a corrupt few that do indeed eat other plants or animals..and are not protected by the charter of our new organization) are creators of life, and grow merely by utilizing water, minerals, and sunlight or heat. NO PLANTS SHOULD EVER BE EATEN...they provide the life giving oxygen we all need and they reduce carbon dioxide, and are thus fighting global "warmification". I bet I could even get some very weak-minded people to pay dues, eh?! LOL.

You know, PETA has way too many mixed up priorities. It seems they cannot stand for someone to own a dog but care less about dying children all over America. In my personal opinion, until you are REALLY and ACTUALLY helping the starving, half-dead children who suffer beatings, abandonment and so much more every day, you have no reason to try to help a dog become free. It is so much more than the animals that are being harmed - it is about anyone owning an animal in their opinion. They feel all animals should be free and never be kept by people. Too bad they don't feel so passionately about the unborn child's right to live - or even the actually already born child - both are precious lives and PETA could care less about them. Poor misguided people. Even poorer lost and dying children. I guess a dog is more valuable to PETA than a child.

I totally agree. PETA (and their radical terror groups) believe that animal life is more important than human life and humans should be eradicated along with any religious group that believes animals were made for our consumption. A few years ago, the president of PETA was quoted saying something along the lines of, "The Judo-Christian religion must be fought to stop the idea that animals are a food source." (I know it's not exact. Like I said, it's been a few years.

You people are ridiculous. Yes there are other problems in the world,but couldn't you use that argument against anything? "Why do you care so much about that one murder, there are hundreds a year all over the city" Why do you care about those homless people, there are starving children in Ghana?" Do yourselves a favour and research where your meat comes from and what quality it is. To allot of Vegetarians eating meat isn't wron or immoral, it's the way we manufacture it in such mass quantities. Ignorance of the truth is not an excuse. Ever watched an animal suffer? Like, really suffer through terrible pain and disgusting living conditions? If it doesn't make you sick to your stomach there's something wrong with you! There are millions of animals in excruciating pain 24hrs a day so you can eat your big mac sludge, which btw is the lowest grade meat available, it's thbe leftovers and meat dust from grinding machines. yum yum eat up your suffering children before it goes cold.

Thank you Kevin, voice of reason. How SO MANY people posting here could be so invested in hating an org devoted to the ethical treatment of animals... it's a sad state of affairs. And most of them, if given a frank, sober view [not necessarily Peta's] of standard conditions in the chicken and beef industry, could be moved to alter their behavior, but NO such reporting is done on television. Not on MSNBC, not on PBS, not 60 minutes, none of the stations/programs the Right labels Lefty.

How's that for hypocritical? All of those people out there criticizing Miley Cyrus for wearing a little less clothes as she gets older and that makes her a bad influence. Kids know this girl from that "Ned's Declassified" show. I understand Christian's doing this for a good cause but don't make other girls who are idols for little girls out to be such bad people when this girl is naked on a poster.

I am a hunter, and I Eat what I KILL (not "harvest") No Apologies. Please look deeper into PETA and their fund-raising and politics. Where does the money GO?? They were instrumental in stopping the "harvest" of the cuddly little fur seals. When they stopped THAT, it effectively nullified an INTERNATIONAL SEALING TREATY, and made it OPEN SEASON on any and ALL Fur Seals. Prior to the treaty being broken - there WERE STRICT LIMITS to how many of them could be taken! Let WILDLIFE MANAGERS take care of the wildlife - not emotionally damaged, silly people that say "OOOOH how CUTE and how SWEET - let's SAVE THEM ALL!" There is a SCIENTIFIC basis to most wildlife management !
I WOULD join the PETV, prior posting - but have to spend my little bit of cash on AMMO ! LOL !

Gotta love PETA. It's wrong...wrong....wrong to exploit and objectify animals but doing so to women is perfectly fine and acceptable. Garbage like this just proves to me that PETA has nothing useful to say. I am a vegetarian and a woman and I cannot stand PETA. They make all vegetarians look bad. This kind of marketing campaign makes me sick. This trash looks like a pedophiles dream. Irresponsibility at its best. Who is thinking about animals when looking at this add? Nobody! The message is lost. You shouldn't wear fur because it's wrong not because this idiot takes her clothes off! Look at PETA's ads. Most of the people in them are naked women. So, from the looks of things, if you're famous, female, and wanna jump on the PETA bandwagon better make sure you have some perky T&A they can plaster all over the internet!

Gee, Trish, thanks. I assume you're a PETA supporter, then? Anyone with a brain cell to spare would agree with me that these idiots deserve nothing less than mockery and laughter at their antics. Like a naughty child, they're only looking for attention. I choose to mock you and your "cause" while others choose to simply ignore you and your stupid little protests.
