PETA's "I'd Rather Go Naked..." is a clever marketing campaign because it gets your attention. Of course, if you don't like fur you no longer have to go naked.. .you can wear synthetic materials. But that opens up a whole other ecological can of worms. The reality is that humans are carnivorous animals. If we weren't meant to eat meat we wouldn't eat meat...and we wouldn't have incisers as teeth. Nonetheless, being human also means we can "rise above" certain aspects of our physiology and nature. Our modern society allows us the luxury of being concerned about taking animals humanely for food, etc. We no longer live in hunter-gatherer societies, and we are not lions, hyenas, sharks or wild dogs who cannot care about how their prey suffers as they kill them or eat them alive. We have come so far through technology, etc, Surely there are kinder, more earth-friendly ways to get food.

Ray sounds real angry, you should all stop making fun of PETA and animals in general. I mean for goodness sake we can't have conflicting opinions about what kind of food we eat or anything in general. And while you PETA pals sit here making yourselves look silly and desperate (enough to call people names over the internet I might add) I am going to enjoy some tasty ham for lunch. Also Kristen Stewart has a horse face.

I understand PETA's stance and I love vegetarian food but just like the animal world there are natural carnivores and herbivores what are they going to do-tell a Lion not to eat meat? I'd like to see them try-and what about the American Indians who survived on the Buffalo and used thier hides to keep warm.I am American Indian and love my people.I don't wear fur but I love my leather and I'm getting sick of seeing actresses stinking A**es thinking they look cute-you can educate people but they will ultimatly do whatever they want.

PETA is a terrorist organization. Don't let them fool you into thinking they love animals. They kill animals. They are a hate group with terror tactics. Telling people they protect animals my sweet behind. They would rather kill domestic animals than see them in homes. Go ahead support PETA. Then you can give up using ANY medications when you are sick, give them your kitties and doggies and they will be dead before they leave your driveway.

They'd rather be naked than wear fur? Yeah, right. If they were stranded during the cold winter in the middle of nowhere with no clothes on, they'd be the first ones to kill an animal for their fur to stay warm, and also eat their meat, why waste that? PETA = People Eating Tasty Animals.

If you do not believe the following statement, look it up. Many vegetarian organizations even put up FAQs to deal with this fact... None other than Adolf Hitler was a vegetarian/animal lover who believed that animals should be afforded the same rights as humans. PETA members, at the very least, agree with that tenet of Hitlerism. This is not to say they are nazis, it is just to say that they see eye-to-eye with Der Führer in at least one regard. Next time you hear someone say, "PETA is a little extreme", keep in mind just how extreme they actually are. The idea that humans are evil (like Hitler) but animals have retained some sort of innocence is a Hitler belief... even though the vast majority of suffering in the animal kingdom is caused by other animals. Animals will eat each other alive, leave each other to die in prolonged agony, etc... They really aren't all that innocent at all.

Such hypocrites......they are all Pro-Choice too. Doesn't that mean that a woman has the choice to do what she wants with her body? Well, then, if I choose to wear fur, shouldn't they support me on that decision too? Pro-Lifers say it's wrong to kill, that means babies, people, and animals. These PETA people are so selfish. Don't kill animals, but if you want to kill your own baby that's OK with us. PETA people are hypocrites. They only see it the way they want to as long as it doesn't interfere with their own selfishness.

I have to admit, I'd rather she go naked too. Now if PETA really wanted people to not wear fur, they'd show a picture of Rosie O'Dumbell or Nasty Baloney or Lady Hillarious and threaten to have them go naked if you wear fur.

Yes I am quite aware that most people think they are more important than other species because they are human. Not because they have clearly thought of the REALITY of what this species has done to this planet and all other species. Honestly, look at it from a VERY realistic, practical and clinical perspective. If you were looking from outside our planet and found this ONE species that not only kills millions and millions of their own, and countless trillions of other species, as well as the immense pollution do you HONESTLY think you would suggest that this species is more or less important than one that just peacefully cohabitates this planet. Lets say a goat?
Then we can look at you and others of your kin that choose to IGNORE OUT OF CONVENIENCE and suggest that there are alot of our species that are full of s*** and are not quite thoughtful enough that make it bad for so many of us. I would also love to know what religion/God you might affiliate yourself with and how your ignorant, selfish, destructive, foolish and uneducated views might sit inside that faith...
