Celine Dion No Longer Expecting Baby

Canadian singer and songwriter Celine Dion was pregnant in August, 2009 amidst a firestorm of reports claiming she was carrying an embryo that had been frozen in liquid nitrogen for the past several years.

In August, a rep for the "My Heart Will Go On" star confirmed her pregnancy, but sadly now a family source now tells In Touch, "While her and Rene are actively trying for a baby, she is not currently expecting."

Dion and her husband Rene Angelil had embryos frozen while trying to conceive their first child, Rene-Charles.

Dion is best known for technically skilled and powerful vocals.

How very sad I am to here that Celine is no longer pregnant. I wish them much success in their endeavour to get pregnant again. I know how important having another child is to them.

i just want to say your a really beautiful singer i saw your show in vegas and it was one of the best i have ever had the privilage to be at. you talked of your son and how much you love him showed through and i know that whenever you have another child it will be the most blessed to have you and renee as its parents. sorry for your lost. cindy

Apparently she never was pregnant... she was attempting to get pregnant using IVF, and the embryo didn't implant, very sad.

I feel for her lose. But after awhile, maybe it's God's way of telling you to adopt. She has so many resources, and the ability to take care of so many children. She seems to have a great ability of love, I doubt that she would love an adopted child any less than a biolgical one. There are SO many children that need good homes. I imagine she and her husband could provide a wonderful one! It's a deeply personal choice, I just hope she's considering it!

i don't know why u people worry about her & her child molestin of a husband!! ya'll better look at their past. she was 12 when he helped her with ther career, he was 28, tell me what does a 28 yr old and a 12 yr old have in common. oh yea he waited til she was 18!!!! made him 36. 36 yr old men really have no interest in an 18 yr old unless they are paying her , etc. didn't stop ol rene

I am so sory for her loss, my husband and I went through this several years ago. Then after 10, we have one adopted and then had two girls. Now, we are ecpecting our 8th grandbaby!!!! I don't know what the so called firestorm was about using THEIR frozen enbryos....and besides, it is their own business.

I was 38 when my second child was born and there's an 11 year difference between my two children. Who are you to say what she will and will not do anyways? I just you know her and know how she runs her household and child. I don't think so.
