Celine is not too old to have a baby. I know she really wanted another child.I feel sorry for her. She is a hands on Mom, raising her son. If you knew anything about her you wouldn't be so harsh.
Celine in not too old, my mother was 42 when she had me, her mother was 44 when she had her youngest. Many women today are getting pregnent well into their 40s.
It is truely a tragedy for Celine & Renee. As for you and your lack of compassion and horrible attitude, YOU ARE A PRIME EXAMPLE WHY SOME PEOPLE SHOULD NEVER BEAR CHILDREN...
You wear your ignorance well.
Where in the world did you come from. She is NOT too old. Have you, by chance, seen her with her son? If anyone is a hands on Mom, it's her. You need to crawl back under the rock you crawled out from.
How rude....U must have a real negative personality, or a real crappy life, n want others to hurt, as well. Why don't u save ur nasty comments, for anger managment class, now go take ur meds......shame on ya
I think you are correct. They are both too old. Get the first kid a haircut and be glad your old,old husband was able to give you one at all.
I hate to burst your "hate" bubble - but Celine is a very "hands on" Mom. She reads to him and plays with him - she and her husband make their child the top priority of their life!!. They spend a lot of time with him. Yes, they do have some help, but not at the expense of her relationship with her child. SHE is the Mommy!! So, just because other celebs do this - don't paint them all with the same brush. There are many celebs out there who do not turn the rearing of their children over to a nanny, but NOT Celine and Rene'. Know what you're tjalking aobut before you make judgements like this in print.

"She is too old anyway, she would just have the nannies, housekeepers, etc. take care of it. Let her do her entertaining, she has one child, it is time ot give the idea of another child up!!"
I agree! I'm disgusted by the fact that women continue to breed at any age much less once they hit 40! Ugh gross!
a baby is a baby no matter what. Celine, I understand. I've been pregnant 6 times and no children until now. i will pray for you!

So very sorry for them both. She is a gift to us all. I hope they never give up. Children, grandchildren and now greatgrandchildren are such a gift from God.

Meanwhile, here in the worst part of Detroit, some unwed, too-young 16-year-old just popped one out, and days later, baby mama got busted for abandoning her newborn in a garbage can...!

dr sausage? dr sausage! I can understand YOUR frustration...poor "little" dr sausage
Here we have a 75 year old man with testicular cancer and a 40 year old anorexic who has one child she is allowing to raise himself. She might be able to carry a fetus to term if she would eat something. You can see her vertebra from the front!

I agree, She is way too thin. EAT SOMETHING!! And take care of your son and husband.
I don't wish this type of loss on anyone, and understand this is a painful tragedy for their family, but perhaps this is an opportunity to reevaluate having a child this late in life. I don't think *she* is too old to carry to term, but her husband is 67 and has already had heart trouble. He will not be there for that child when they grow up. What about adolescence, a formative time in shaping one's identity and spirit? What about the 20s when they're stepping into adulthood? What about the 30s when they have their own family and children who will never know their grandfather? I understand that life is short and people can pass away at any age, but when in your late 60s you *know* you've got another 20-30 years of life at best. Are they even thinking about how this future child will be able to handle the inevitable passing of their father? I don't condemn their decision, I just hope they deeply consider the child's future without his or her parent.
So? Big deal, they already have one child. They are BOTH too old to start over anyway. They need to enjoy their one blessing, some people would give anything just to have one child.

Sorry for Celine and Angelil's loss - I have been through that same thing twice - it is heartbreaking.
Could someone fire the writer of that piece though - the grammar is awful - e.g. "her and Angelil" - this is truly sad and shows a lack of education or
something - can't believe that the person wrote that and thought it sounded ok.
