I like Celine but she's WAY to skinny and that's most likely the problem she's having staying pregnant. If she REALLY wants a baby she would eat and get her body in shape. She sings great but she looks horrible and starved. Good luck Celine, make your health and not your job your first concern and I'm sure you can have the baby you want!

This lady has to get her priorities in order. She bounces from singer to mother. At her age and using
IV to get pregnant she is considered high risk medically. The older a woman gets the more likely she is to miscarry/have a child with birth defects
etc.Perhaps she should accept that she has one healthy child, stop tempting fate and pick up her singing career. We can only give our all to one thing at a time. Get your son's hair cut, get back to voice lessons and count your blessings. Crazy Canadian!

I really love Celine, and all of the pictures of her son are so beautiful. I do think that people in their 40's & 50's are getting up there and should really consider what will happen to the child, if something happens to them, but I'm sure the child would be well cared for no matter what. Anyone can die, after having a child, so should we all just stop having children? At least they have the money to support their child, until it is way beyond an adult. I do think that Celine would benefit from gaining a little weight, because sometimes being too thin or being obese can be the reason for miscarrying or not being able to conceive. Very sorry for your tragedy, and you will always be my favorite female singer!

She's too old for babies anyway - 41 years old. More like the age to start thinking about grandchildren. She's learning you just CAN'T have everything! She worked on her career, and she has that now. She's got all that money, she should just be happy with the life she's got and the one kid she has. She's got it better than most on this planet.

Just because women are able -- ONLY with the all important assistance of medical science -- to bear a child doesn't make it right. Nature designs women's fertility limits for a reason. Nature steps in when maternal age is TOO OLD and also doesn't let humans deliver litters. Just because people do it doesn't make it the right thing.

I believe Celine never should have married such an older guy. I think the guy married her because he was affraid that eventually, someone else would snatch her up and he may be out as a manager eventually. Celine may have thought it was love but I believe it was nothing more than let me grab her before someone else does, senario. By the child is ten or 15, the father may not even be around to help raise the child. I believe no woman should marry a man that is more than 5 years her senior. They're asking for trouble if they marry anyone older than that. Don't give me that "you can't choose love" crap either. Be wise or be sorry.
