Fans Walk Out on Tracy Morgan During Raunchy Routine

Tracy Morgan brought his brand irreverent humor to the upper-crusty confines of NYC's Carnegie Hall on Friday, but many fans were shocked and appalled by what they heard. According to the NY Daily News, the '30 Rock' star was "unspeakably filthy" throughout the show and inspired many customers to walk out in disgust. To be fair, Morgan made it clear who they paid to see: "You want the clean Tracy? Turn on the TV," he told them.

One audience member said people were "shocked and appalled with what was coming out of his mouth," including trash-talking about homosexuality (it's "a choice"), drugs, sex acts and pornography. One joke merged politics and the ever-growing catalog of celebrity sex tapes going around.

"Obama is really changing the White House, because he and Michelle will have the first presidential sex tape out," he said.

The News' spy reports "a continuous flow of people getting up and leaving throughout the show," including a legion of middle-aged women who grew uncomfortable when Moran began mimicking sex acts on stage.

Not everyone was appalled by his routine, though. Spike Lee and 'Rock' co-star Jane Krakowski were both in attendance and reportedly joined in on a standing ovation.

The former 'Saturday Night Live' comedian recently released a tell-all, 'I Am the New Black,' and even stopped by the PopEater offices to (cleanly) crack us up. Watch here and here.

I saw Tracy Morgan's stand up act when I was in college. He came to our school and put on a little ditty. Well he was rauncy and appalling then too. Nothing he said was remotely funny and spent over an hour hitting on two blondies in the front row and spoke about how it would be great if they had a 3-some after the show. He is disgusting, not a bit funny and not worth a penny to watch. Hopefully he reads this blog to find out how worthless he really is.

I am sure that the people who went to see him didn't "expect" to be thoroughly disgusted! Just like Eddie Murphy years ago when he was onstage, he got very filthy mouthed too. A comic can be funny without throwing out all the gross comments. If not I assume that they just aren't intelligent enough!

I concur. I almost felt sorry for him when he was on SNL because none of his skits were funny. I can't even watch 30 Rock anymore. I love Tina and Alec but Tracy and Jane's characters just aren't funny and I feel it's a waste of 30 minutes. Being Gay is not a choice. People all through history have been gay - even in the bible. When are people going to grow up and move on with that ignorant statement already?!
