Fans Walk Out on Tracy Morgan During Raunchy Routine

Tracy Morgan brought his brand irreverent humor to the upper-crusty confines of NYC's Carnegie Hall on Friday, but many fans were shocked and appalled by what they heard. According to the NY Daily News, the '30 Rock' star was "unspeakably filthy" throughout the show and inspired many customers to walk out in disgust. To be fair, Morgan made it clear who they paid to see: "You want the clean Tracy? Turn on the TV," he told them.

One audience member said people were "shocked and appalled with what was coming out of his mouth," including trash-talking about homosexuality (it's "a choice"), drugs, sex acts and pornography. One joke merged politics and the ever-growing catalog of celebrity sex tapes going around.

"Obama is really changing the White House, because he and Michelle will have the first presidential sex tape out," he said.

The News' spy reports "a continuous flow of people getting up and leaving throughout the show," including a legion of middle-aged women who grew uncomfortable when Moran began mimicking sex acts on stage.

Not everyone was appalled by his routine, though. Spike Lee and 'Rock' co-star Jane Krakowski were both in attendance and reportedly joined in on a standing ovation.

The former 'Saturday Night Live' comedian recently released a tell-all, 'I Am the New Black,' and even stopped by the PopEater offices to (cleanly) crack us up. Watch here and here.

I use to LOVE when he would do Star Jones, or Brian Fellows on SNL... but most of the time, I can't understand what the hell he is saying. He sounds like he has a mouth full of marbles.

Tracy was funniest to me as Hustle Man on Martin. Other than that I would only see him if the tickets were free. I would not pay to see most current comics because they use the same approach to comedy, curse and shock, little else. I guess he should have urinated next to a oicture of Jesus and left it at that.

He adores anything black and wouldn't criticize a black man if the guy was clubbing baby seals on the courthouse steps. P.S. His latest movie is the craps.

Dude is not funny. He's not funny on his show. He was painful to watch on SNL. There is nothing cutting edge about elevated 4th grade humor. Very weak comic. If he was white and doing the same racial and gay bashing jokes he would be booed.

That ugly nasty piece of trash. This ghetto buzzard is a shame to the Black race and any body who doesn't have sense enough to stay home and keep their money in their pockets. Too bad the ones who walked out didn't know he was trash. They should all been given the price of their ticket back.

All Black people are not like this piece of you-know-what. Nasty, no good, ugly, disrespectful thing. I wonder what kind of parents spawned this piece of degenerate, ignorant, no-account, lowlife, trash, and if they are as ashamed of him as I would be if a child of mine stood up and talked like that. I know he realized that there were senior citizens in the audience. I've never watched him on TV so had no idea that he had a different version of his dialogue that allowed decent people to be conned into purchasing a ticket, expecting to hear the kind of so-called comedy that was a cleaner version, so they go to the concert expecting to be able to sit there in peace, then he gets up and shows his azz. What a dirty rotten shame.

Why do standup comics think they need to use folgarity and such sexual comments in order to get a laugh. I'm certainly not a prude, but I believe you can get more laughs with good clean humor relating to everyday life, than with every other word being f### and other demeaning comments. I would rather pay to hear Bill Cosby or others like him. Does anyone remember Victor Borge...although he was an accomplished pianist, he was also a humorist, what a great entertainer!!! I'm all for free speech, but sometimes we, the public, must take a stand and if we boycott and hit the entertainers in the pocketbook, maybe then they will get the message.

His act is so clean until his parents feel comfortable enough to attend his performances, and his father is a MINISTER or PASTOR! They are SENIOR CITIZENS, born during the time when people, almost all people, were decent! So there is no way they would attend a performance like the one given by that nasty man, Tracy Morgan.
