Fans Walk Out on Tracy Morgan During Raunchy Routine
Tracy Morgan brought his brand irreverent humor to the upper-crusty confines of NYC's
Carnegie Hall on Friday, but many fans were shocked and appalled by what they heard. According to the
NY Daily News, the
'30 Rock' star was "unspeakably filthy" throughout the show and inspired many customers to walk out in disgust. To be fair, Morgan made it clear who they paid to see: "You want the clean Tracy? Turn on the TV," he told them.
One audience member said people were "shocked and appalled with what was coming out of his mouth," including trash-talking about homosexuality (it's "a choice"), drugs, sex acts and pornography. One joke merged politics and the ever-growing catalog of celebrity sex tapes going around.
"Obama is really changing the White House, because he and Michelle will have the first presidential sex tape out," he said.
The News' spy reports "a continuous flow of people getting up and leaving throughout the show," including a legion of middle-aged women who grew uncomfortable when Moran began mimicking sex acts on stage.
Not everyone was appalled by his routine, though. Spike Lee and 'Rock' co-star Jane Krakowski were both in attendance and reportedly joined in on a standing ovation.
The former 'Saturday Night Live' comedian recently released a tell-all, 'I Am the New Black,' and even stopped by the PopEater offices to (cleanly) crack us up. Watch

Tracy Morgan Visits PopEater
"I just think that this was the right time. I mean, you know, I was mature enough. And I wanted to tell my story. I don't know how long I'm gonna be here, and I think, you know, the changing in the world and the president, all of those things that happened in world in the last two years inspired me," Tracy Morgan explains to PopEater why he wanted to write his book, 'I Am the New Black.'

Nothing shocking.....blacks are usually the most biggoted people of all. Isn't it ironic, don't you think?

I am black so I must be a bigot. Excuse me, Cynthia, but do you know me? All my friends but one is white. How classy of you to make a rash generalization about a group of people without knowing each individual one. And you say we are bigots? A little knowledge and less stupidity go a long way.
This kind of "act" has long been recognized as the result of a lack of real talent. Which speaks volumns about current "entertainers"...........

To justify hate and homophobia, the ignorant want to believe that being gay is a choice!
How absurd! Tell that to the thousands of teenagers that try to commit suicide, that they could have just chosen to to be straight, and made their lives so much easier! Oh yea, they chose to be miserable. Is our society insane, or what?

this guy is horrible, not funny at all.

Being Queer is a choice, know one ever put a gun to anyone's head and said "Pack that Fudge" or "Munch that Carpet". Nobody is born liking men or women, straight or fag, that happens later in life during Puberty. It is a learned response, if you say you are born queer, than you must have gone through Puberty in the womb.

You worded your comments as if they were fact when, in fact, they are nothing more than your ignorantly uninformed opinion. After you get your doctorate in psychiatric medacine with a concentration on human sexuality, THEN you can make statements of FACT.
Tracy Morgan is relying on X rated material because he is not funny in the least (IMO). How he stayed on SNL and then went on to be on 30 Rock I don't know. I used to think it was just me who didn't get his humor but after reading a lot of comments and posts about him, I would say more people think he is awful than think he is a talented comedian.

I wish the entire audience had walked out. Sex is not something new but you'd think it was since that's all the so-called comedians want to talk about. Vulgarity is never funny as far as I'm concerned. I would never spend a penny on it. I refuse to go to the concerts, performances or any where that I know there is going to be profanity, sexual references or anything I know is offensive to me personally but to those who enjoy it, continue to do so. This is just my own presonal feelings. I can't stand nasty talking people. Wanda Sykes, Tracy Morgan, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, and others like them would be complete broke and living in tent city if they depended on making a living by selling a ticket to me to attend a concert. I wouldn't go if the admittance was FREE!
Oh, YES! Of COURSE Spike Lee gave a standing ovation. And even though homosexuality indeed is a choice, contrary to what homosexuals love to say about it, it's still their business. Another thing--homosexuals need to stop comparing their nasty lifestyle with people who happen to be born Black. Give it a rest, guys. Continue in your nasty lifestyles but stop making excuses and stop comparing sexual depravity with any race of people. And why do you always pick on the Black race to compare your nasty lifestyle? There IS no comparison.

I SO agree with you. Add Kathy Griffin and Joan Rivers to that list of profane comediens.
why do gays get so bent out of shape when it is stated it is a choice? all the men i know made the choice because they love having sex with men..admit it you like sex with men and that drive is stronger than any concern about homophobia and now the movement is so strong thatgay fears about "acceptance" are ridiculous..what isnt ridiculous is how many women are alone and without a partner because so many men are choosing to be gay ironically just when women are more hot, stunning, fun and intelligent than ever... if you are a woman or have daughter dont count on her being with a man in her lifetime because men now prefer each other sadly/

Because it's not true, "anise".
That's why. No other reason.
blacks are great at music and sports but humor was never their thing they always have to get ugly vulgar, curse and offend beyond what is ever truly funny. that others put up with it is a form of social masochism or a need to be insulted possibly to expiate guilt...if you dont feel guilty than boycott their filthy "comedy"

Sad for a man with talent to think he has to stoop to this tasteless level. Stop the crud jokes and be yourself. You have talent.

Any comic who must resort to filth and filthy jokes, is not as talented as he/she thinks, and they certainly are not talented enough to be funny.
When Eddie Murphy was on SNL, he was histerical.....As soon as he left the show, he was just filthy, and nothing more.
These no talent comics, whether they are male or female, just need to go to my mother's sink, and have their mouths washed out with soap.
Next, they need a trip to the wood shed with Grandpa and his razor strap.

All of you suck balls for not having a vulgar funny bone in your bodies. I'm assuming you all can't appreciate Eddie Murphy, George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Redd Fox, and soooo many others. Want your comedy clean? That's cool. I like it too. But don't knock the rauchy and vulgar, I'm sure that's been around longer. And its funnier.
