On Monday, John Travolta made his first red carpet appearance since the death of his son Jett in January. Travolta showed up with wife Kelly Preston and their daughter, Ella Bleu, at the LA premiere of 'Old Dogs,' Ella's first movie in which she stars alongside her dad. "We decided it was OK to come out and promote, to introduce her to the world and to give her a beautiful future in film," said Travolta. The nine-year-old actress got plenty of attention on the red carpet from her parents, who kept planting kisses on both her cheeks.John Travolta Snapshots

Each person deals with their grief in their own ways and at their own speed. There is no specific guideline for losing someone you love. Having lost many friends and family from illness and accidents I have discovered even tho you may seem fine to the outside world you can still be deeply grieving inside but staying hidden away from people does not make everything better or even show respect. I know I would not want anyone to fade away from their life if I died. That is not what someone you love or care about wants... they want you happy and to live life to its fullest.

My mother told me that loosing a child was even harder then loosing 2 husbands whom she also lost. We lost our brother when he was 11 years old and yet my parents still had 6 more children to raise. I was gone from home by that time so I am not counting myself in that number but he was the the 5th of my 7 brothers and I know it was hard on me loosing him. It was even harder on my brothers and their friends who were there with him when he drowned and they had to tell our parents what had happened.
Inspite of all the sorrow they must have felt my parents still felt that life had to go on for the rest of us. I am sure there were times when they put on a happy face for the rest of us but they did not necessarily feel happy inside.
I know it would be hard on me loosing any of my children to even though they are all grown and gone from home. Yes, I to have a special needs child so I very much understand the Travolta's situation. They are in my prayers that things will go well for them.

I still feel the pain of his loss and continue to pray for John and his family . Kelly is a great wife and person with his daughter being a sweet child this and our support helps in what is most troubling -- the lose of a child . God bless John and his family and help them to find great insight into love and the appreciation of those we hold dear .

It's so nice to see you, the Travolta family, out and about again. Though I've never had a son to loose, I do know what it's like to loose someone you love having lost my mother, both grandparents and my husband. It was extremely difficult for me, I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like for you to have lost a child. To see you together with genuine smiles on your faces really gives me a cense of peace. Life goes on. Jett will be missed, but never forgotten. I wish you all the best in the future.

Travoltas - I don't know how you could appear in public with the shame that you should carry for the rest of your lives for not providing life saving medical care for your son's severe seizure disorder.
He was having one seizure every four days, per family attorney at time of his death and he was UNMEDICATED because his treatment had been turned over to the cult. The cult, was doing toxin flushings on him. And because of you and your lack of responsibility in treating him, he is dead and died a grievous death convulsing in a bathtub.
Shame on you.

What you wrote is disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's good to see them out-and-about. They deserve that. Remember that your daughter needs the two of you more than anything now. She hurts too and misses her brother. There is no time limit on grief. You will learn to cope. It will get better in time. Jett still love you. God bless to the Travolta's. They have had a horrific year. Mt. Vernon, VA.
