Judge Shuts Down Joe Jackson, Who Accuses Son's Executors of Fraud

Michael Jackson's father has plenty of accusations against the overseers of his late son's will.
Joe Jackson filed a 60-page motion to get money from his son's estate by making fraud accusation against John Branca and John McClain. He believes the men have a conflict of interest and shouldn't be in charge of the case.
But a judge on Tuesday dismissed Jackson's bid to challenge the appointment, effectively shutting the showbiz dad down. "Joe Jackson takes none of this estate. This is a decision his son made," Judge Mitchell Beckloff told the court.
Earlier in the day, Jackson's mother Katherine withdrew her objections to the appointment of the executors. Joe Jackson's lawyer, Brian Oxman, accused Katherine of backing out on an agreement with her family to challenge the executors and called the announcement "one of the most despicable things I have ever seen."
The showbiz dad was omitted from his son's will, with all assets going to his mother Katherine, his children and charities.
The flamboyant Oxman spoke before the ruling: "The executors have an obligation to tell the court the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth," Oxman said. "But for four months they've been silent as to where this will was signed. They are concealing this from the court and you cannot do that."
Citing lack of income, Joe Jackson is also seeking an allowance from his son's estate to help cover expenses that exceed $15,000 a month, according to court documents filed last week.
Howard Weitzman, a lawyer for Branca and McClain, said he was "quite surprising to learn of the request."
Joe Jackson stated that his monthly expenses are $20,000 but he only receives $1700 from the estate according to court papers filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court. They also claimed the King of Pop's estate has earned approximately $100 million since his death on June 25th. The request will be assessed in a hearing expected to occur next year.

A judge approved monthly payments to Katherine Jackson, Michael's mother, as well as his daughter and two sons. The will omitted Joe Jackson. Both the previously approved payments as well the request for a new allowance may be evaluated at the same time to come to a judgment on Joe's request.
Joe Jackson reportedly does not have a regular source of income and has relied on payments from Michael through his wife Katherine for years, according to court documents. His sole source of income is social security payments stated Jackson's lawyers. They further claimed that Joe suffered a stroke 10 years ago and suffers from diabetes.

Will someone please tell me why this man (aka MJ's father) believes he is ENTITLED to any of the money? I believe Michael made it very clear over the years that he wanted nothing to do with his father and if I'm not mistaken I believe he detested the man. I always thought (since MJ's death) that his father was coming out of the woodwork only because he saw the dollar signs! What a piece of work! He should be ashamed of himself!!!

Cindy, you put the nail right on the head. I agree that Joe J. should be ashamed of hisself. Why wait until after Michaels' death to start trying to be even half the father he should have been in years gone by. Whatever he did to support the lifestyle he has been accustomed to, he should continue he was doing. I think that Michael had a reason and a right to leave his estate to whomever he wanted to and omit who he wanted to. Actually, it took him longer than I thought it would to come out of the woodwork. Now I am convinced I haven't seen it all because believe me there is more to come. I understand that Joe is estranged from what seems like the whole family so he needs to crawl back under the rock he suddenly appeared from to pick up his social security check.

Joe Jackson has a right to ask for SOME money. If it was not for his sperm Micheal would have never been on earth. No matter what the public think. Joe Jackson deserves some only if it's a little

When MJ died my exact words to my fiance were, "there is a special place in hell awaiting Joe Jackson." He just seems to cement that path at every turn he takes.

Why do you think just because Joe Jackson was the sperm donor he is entitled to some of that estate. Micheal broke with his father long ago. Made his own money, his way. His father abused him, why would he leave him anything..!!!!! Greed is fueling this....always will

Since I don't know what transpired over the years, it's hard to say why Michael, should shun his father, it certainly is against the written words in the Holy Bible.
Michael led an extremely ODD Lifestyle, so any decision that he made, certainly contained a delusional personality to reality.
I do know that Michael got his start, only because his FATHER put the children together, and taught them how to perform, hence was responsible for their beginning and rise to fame and fortune.
Obviously they had a fallout over the years, and we can ONLY speculate as to why, and who was right or wrong. If one is to be honest, they must rely on what we don't know behind the scenes of Michael's obviously questionable life, especially around minor Boys. The Bible tells us to forgive and to HONOR thy Father and Mother.
We can only SECOND guess what was in Michael's mindset, but what we do know is that it was ODD, very ODD at times in his life.

Over the last few years I have seen this happen in lots of families. Rich and less fortunate. Someone passes away and the "Bloodsuckers" come out of the woodwork to get what they feel is "OWED" to them. What a disgrace. Recent death the various family members removed items from deceased household before he was even put in the final resting place. How this type of person lives with themselves is beyond me. Also have seen families who with the help of their attorney find ways to get money from their parents so that when heavy medical bills come into play the county they live in has to pick up the tab. A hearty thanks goes out to those people also. I really enjoy paying for your family while you enjoy the winnings.

Sad to say it is so easy to contest a will these days from money hungry vigilantes. You never know how many relatives you really have until the will or the lottery money comes in to play. Otherwise, people don't even bother with you. Family members and business people are still feeding off the deceased like hungry wolves. Exploiting every squeezable dime they can make. Sad, really sad.......especially when it's family.

Reverend... Honor Thy Father and Mother does NOT mean you have to hand everything over to them. Michael's responsibility is to his own children, not an abusive, greedy father. Parents are not required to leave everything to their children when they die. Michael provided for his mother who didn't abuse him. Michael may not have had the courage to challenge his father while he was alive, but he certainly gave him the ultimate truth of his feelings through his death.

Ashamed. He has no shame. Look what he did to his own family for years. MJ did not want his children exposed to that man, shame on Catherine too. I fell some empathy towards her, as she is a victim, but she never stopped the abuse even today with that man.

The man(I use the term loosely)is a money-grubbing vampire.During all of the funeral hoopla,he disregarded the attention towards Michael by announcing to the press that he had several "New" projects in the works...like we should care. The projects he obviously spoke of were trying to STEAL his late son's money-securing in my mind what Michael told his public about his father being an overbearing tyrant-abusive and cold-hearted.The so-called stroke didn't damage the man,he was already failed.Good decision on the judges part-Michael's money goes exactly where he directs it and SOUR GRAPES to you,Joe Jackson-you blood sucking, heartless wretch.

Well said, Cindy! Thank you for voicing what I've been thinking since MJ passed. His father is going to try to squeeze every cent he can out of this. He used his boys to make him money & when Michael grew up & realized it he separated. I find it funny the line stating that Joe has been receiving support "from Michael through Katherine for years". I'm sure Michael never knew that his mother was giving half of her money to his father.

Everyone (including you and me) has the right to "ask for some money" and contest MJ's will. Good luck with that. When Katherine passes, her 40% reverts back to the children. Not Joe, Tito, Bubbles, etc. Wonder why MJ made that stipulation?
