John Travolta is excited about possibly starring in a remake of the classic 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid' with buddy Tom Cruise.
"Someone came up with a good idea - it was a remake of 'Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid' - and there was a rumor that we were gonna do that, and I said to Tom, 'It's not a terrible rumor, it's not a bad idea,'" the 'Grease' star said.

Don't forget The Sting!
You could never match the chemistry between
Newman and Redford on the screen. I think John T
is fabulous in almost any roll he plays but Cruise
well lets just say he is a no class couch jumper.
I would never ever pay for one of his movies.

John Travolta fine...Cruise...Please...no way
Cruise stinks...all I can think about is him standing on Oprah's couch screaming...he's done as far as I'm concerned...Anything Cruise is in...I now pass on...I have a hard time even watching the old ones with him starring he has marred his image so badly with me...That's my opinion

John...please find someone else...Cruise is a loser

There way to many remakes in hollywood Seems they have no new ideas. Maybe they need some new people instead of keeping everything in the family

tom cruise in anything is bad idea

Is Hollywood totally out of new ideas? They touch that script with new actors and I think Americans should boycott theaters!!!!!

Tom Cruise, oh please, he is such a jerk and I will not see a movie with him in it. Cruise is a mental case.

Tom Cruise isn't an actor. He only knows how to act being himself, which is ok, but he's not an actor.

No need to make a remake. But if Hollywood is casting...Brad Pitt would be perfect!!!

Theres been so many remakes, give me a break, there was some felt why I have no idea compulsion to remake classics like "the day the earth stood still" with all of the current CGI effects, "the taking of pelham one,two three", the 1974 original is still excellent and very viewable, unfortunately its rarely shown on mainstream cable movie channels, this is even shockingly the case for films like taxi driver, which was a 1975-76 film. So these two scientologist goofballs , Travolta and Cruise, oh, the recession has even eaten into thier fortunes and lifestyles and they need a big pay day, make a remake of a compelling and respected classic. I'll admit it, I don't like scientology and I generally avoid Travolta and Cruise films, except for Pulp Fiction (Travolta) and The last samuari, they are very excellent films and I overlook the goofball scientology aspect here. It also frankly pisses me off, that the federal government gave the cult of scientology the same privledges as real establishes true religions. Major countrieslike Russia, Germany and France don't extend privledges to scientology. Scientologists in germany are not permitted to work for the government either.

It makes me sick to look at travoltas face knowing that they let their son die of a grand mal seizure disorder, alone, unmedicated in a bathtub in the Bahamas, when he should have been under the care of a Dr. Do you know who's care Jett was under - you guessed it, the scientology cult. They were administering body flushings!!
The family attorney stated at the time of Jett's death that he was having a grand mal seizure every four days. It is a crime that this boy died and if travoltas were not who they are, Children's Services would have been involved a long time ago.
With travoltas money, this boy could have been in a top medical clinic for evaluation and treatment options; not having his body flushed out by a cult.
You couldn't pay me to see a movie with this person in it. And frankly, I don't know how he can even look at his face in a mirror, and her too.
