Rod 'The Bod' Stewart Trying for a Baby

Does 64-year-old Hot Rod Stewart have another baby in him? Rod and third wife Penny Lancaster, 38, are looking to add one more child to his brood of seven.

"Yes, we're trying – we actually tried last night!" Stewart exclaimed on the British talk show GMTV. "One more and then we're going to close the office."

The joys of fatherhood appeal to the British-born rock legend. But his native roots pose challenges. He is struggling to teach his youngest son Alastair soccer. The boy, his only child with Lancaster, will turn 4 later this month.

"He's just a sweet kid at the moment," said the adoring dad. "I did take him out on the football field the other day. He put all his Celtic stuff on, I said, 'Come on, let's get running out there,' and he went, 'Oh, there's some flowers for mummy – must collect them.'

Stewart is currently promoting 'Soulbook,' his newest release of R&B classics.

The raspy voiced Stewart burst on to the musical scene in the late 1960s fronting The Jeff Beck Group and later becoming a solo artist. He is a world renowned artist but has had his greatest success in the UK where he earned six consecutive number one albums and 62 hit singles, including 31 that reached the top ten.

There are ALREADY 7 BILLION people in the world !! ALL the world's problems, including global warming, stem from there being TOO MANY PEOPLE !!

All these celebs are being IRRESPONSIBLE in having anywere from 8 to 15 kids !! It's NOT about having the money to raise them ..... it's about what the ADDED BURDEN their share of an already MONSTEROUSLY OVER-TAXED earth will cause !!

ONE carries on your genes !! 8 to 15 causes problems that CANNOT BE TOLERATED by this planet !!

There should be an escalating TAX on anyone who chooses to burden this planet, suchly. Let them pay (in Rod's case of 8 kids), LITERALLY HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF EXTRA TAX DOLLARS A YEAR for his "privledge" of putting such a burden on the planet, for MANY, MANY generations to come !!

He can help reduce the taxes for people who are "responsible", and who can't afford it !!

The term "British born" includes Scotland as Scotland is part of Great Britain. My husband was born in Scotland and his passport was a British one.

When someone is that old, it's very selfish to have children. In another 10 years he may not even be able to teach his kid how to play soccer. His kids will be very young when he dies. He should just wait for grandchildren now and just stop it already!
